  • Primary point of contact for HR related activities and program in client business groups
  • Collaborates with HR & business leaders to ensure HR initiatives are directly aligned with business goals

Requirements:

  • Four or more years’ experience as a HR Business Partner in an Engineering/ High Technology company
  • Proven knowledge and experience with human resources best practices and BC employment law
  • Proven track record of establishing relationships across all levels of staff and developing strong stakeholder credibility
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships in the work environment
  • Experience using Human Resource Management System (eg Oracle HCM)

Description:

As a Senior DevOps Developer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintain and improve our DevOps infrastructure (on-premise, running on vSphere/OpenStack/Ceph/Kubernetes)
  • Monitor various DevOps infrastructure systems and ensure their availability (we use Prometheus, Grafana and Loki)
  • Streamline workflow with automation (We use Ansible, Terraform and shell scripts)
  • Provide support for various services and keep them highly available

We are looking for:

  • 5+ years of practical experience in SRE/DevOps/Infrastructure/Systems Engineer roles;
  • Strong hands-on expertise in:VMware vSphere/ESXi/vCenter; OpenStack and its services (Nova, Neutron, Cinder etc); Software-defined storage (Ceph) and SAN/NAS storage solutions.
  • Experience configuring physical servers, network and storage appliances (e.g., Dell, SuperMicro, PureStorage etc.) and data center operations;
  • Deep understanding and hands-on experience with containerization technologies (Docker. Kubernetes)
  • Solid understanding of networking (VLANs, VPN, DNS, routing, firewalls, load balancers)
  • Experience with configuration management and Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Ansible/Terraform/Packer).
  • Experience with monitoring/observability systems: Prometheus, Grafana, Loki etc.
  • Strong scripting skills (Python and/or Bash)
  • Strong experience with Linux/Unix administration (Ubuntu preferred)
  • Team player with strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to multi-task and quickly react to system/service issues
  • A degree or technical diploma in Computer Science, Computer Technology, or a related field

Bonus Skills
