Description:

What you'll be doing:

  • Perform complicated data analysis tasks, quantifying different aspects of Forter’s impact on our portfolio of some of the largest e-commerce players in the world.
  • Manage an operational pipeline of merchant tickets and alerts - triage, research, prioritize, assign, and solve data and analytics issues for our Enterprise clients.
  • Design, code, and test adjustments to our production decisioning engine in Python.
  • Work together with our fraud analysts, customer success managers, and Forter’s customer support organization to ensure we are solving our customer’s issues quickly and effectively and optimizing Forter’s products.

What you'll need:

    Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree with at least 4 semesters left before graduation (50% position with flexibility during exam periods).
  • Able to turn broad business questions into the right queries to get the answers you need.
  • Knows how to get things done - find the right person to ask, not shy about asking for help, knows when to escalate, and what tools you need to get the job done.
  • Technically oriented - quick and eager to learn new technologies and tools.
  • Strong multitasking skills - comfortable (and even enjoy) managing many tasks at different stages under your responsibility.
  • Coding - able to complete basic coding tasks in a scripting language, preferably Python.
  • SQL - experience with basic queries - an advantage.

What you'll be doing:

  • Carry a team quota; regularly meet and/or exceed sales goals
  • Define and execute sales plans and strategies, including specific account plans
  • Define named accounts and establishing relationships with decision makers
  • Hire, recruit, mentor and develop top enterprise sales talent across territories
  • Develop and own the sales “funnel,”continuously optimizing every step
  • Define new processes to increase overall productivity
  • Provide regular pipeline and forecast reporting
  • Keep abreast of competition and industry trends
  • Communicate proactively with management, customers and support staff
  • Participate in team-building and company growth activities including strategy setting and training
  • Travel to customer locations in designated territories to support sales efforts

What you'll need:

  • At least 10 years of complex enterprise sales experience, selling into major logos in eCommerce, Retail, Travel & Hospitality, and/or similar industries
  • 5+ years of enterprise sales management experience is essential
  • Experience working for a high growth software company
  • Proven success in selling innovative solutions/services to merchants/enterprises is a must; with a focus on FinTech and eCommerce solutions (analytics, platforms, financial and/or technology solutions)
  • A strong network with a proven track record of enterprise sales within top 500 eCommerce companies is a big plus
  • Superb interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to influence, train and motivate others
  • Prior success building and leading a sales team and its corresponding revenue targets, and experience developing/executing a plan to achieve goals
  • Comfortable with a fast paced, scaleup environment
  • Comfortable and familiar with cross-functional collaboration
  • Energy, enthusiasm, and love of selling

  • Work autonomously to explore data resources to research accounts, identify key players, and uncover business problems within large retail enterprises
  • Deliver compelling messages, both written and verbal, to generate interest
  • Conduct initial discovery conversations with Finance, eCommerce, and Payments Executives in targeted accounts
  • Understand customer needs and requirements and effectively articulate how Forter can partner to solve them
  • Provide insight into an organisation's structure, with ability to successfully identify decision makers

What you'll need:

  • Previous experience with sales and prospecting tools a plus: Salesforce.com, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • 12+ months of previous business experience in a sales environment, ideally within a fast-paced startup environment
  • European language skills are highly beneficial (in particular, French and/or German)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to be effective in positioning a clear, concise and well-understood message
  • Solid technical aptitude and genuine interest in tech and e-commerce solutions
  • Ability to navigate systems and tools and follow process
