Lead and coordinate current model program delivery of:
- Provide technical support to aid in improving quality systems and lead all supplier concern resolution
- Utilizes Manufacturing Site Assessment to improve supplier quality
- Responsible for ongoing part incoming quality, including product launch
- Work with the STA on PPAP compliance to Ford Specific Guidelines
- Drive Supplier continuous improvement and support 6-Sigma and Ford cross-functional matched pair initiatives as required
- Drive robust Supplier Failure Mode Avoidance through PFMEA, SCCAF, Control Plan, Manufacturing Feasibility review and Health chart deployment as applicable
- Lead Supplier development of interim and permanent corrective actions to resolve quality issues using 8D methodology and structured problem-solving tools

You will Interface with production departments, to address quality issues, internal Quality Operating System (QOS) adherence, root cause analyses, closure of 8D’s, chargebacks, part sort coordination and some supplier issues.
Off-shift assignments are a possibility.
Must be willing to travel.
What you'll do...
Conduct thorough inspections of products to ensure they meet the required quality standards
Identify and document any non-conformities in the production process
Communicate findings to relevant departments and work with them to implement corrective actions
Conduct internal audits to evaluate the effectiveness of our quality management system
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of our products
Maintain accurate and organized records of all quality control activities

What you'll do…
- Support VRT with statistical process control and data analysis.
- Participate with VRT team to conduct a periodic job observation.
- Update the status to completion of periodic job observation.
- Provide external and internal data checks for quality reviews.
- Maintain health chart schedule and assessments.
- Maintain and review quality leadership system charts for data accuracy and work group binning.
- Perform subsystem checks as required.
- Learning control plan and verify data entry as required into web-based data management.
- Assemble acceptance criteria visual aids for the VRT.
- Maintain cycle line lay out indicator mapping with the assistance of the VRT.
- Update and maintain the Quality Confirmation Map.
- Apply Quality principles and analytical techniques to establish and continuously improve manufacturing processes and products.
- Analyze root causes, engage in mapping and corrective actions to reduce inventory.
- Lead role in resolving assembly related concerns. Lead variability reduction and lean manufacturing initiatives and best practices
- Implement interim and permanent corrective actions to resolve quality issues using 8D tool, 6 panel, etc.
