Your expertise will drive the strategic direction, sourcing execution, and productivity initiatives (Total Value Management - TVM), ensuring the seamless delivery of high-quality plastic parts to Ford Engine and Transmission Plants. This role demands a proactive approach to supplier relationship management and a keen eye for market trends, working collaboratively with Product Development (PD), Supplier Technical Assistance (STA), and Material Planning & Logistics (MP&L) to achieve aggressive Year-over-Year (YoY) cost, quality, and on-time delivery (OTD) targets.

- Establish/strengthen global supplier relationships, enabling Ford to better align with and influence supplier technology roadmaps for Timing System, VCT and Solenoids.
- Understand upcoming program sourcing and key milestone in support of launch.
- Lead process to source on time and satisfy program targets, including working closely with PD to develop forward model cost targets.

Develop and lead E.V. engineering efforts for Recertification, Refurbishment, and Remanufacture (Re-X) with a dynamic cross functional team challenged to develop and implement high-value service solutions. Lead the development, verification and release of Service Unique Specifications, with the support of EPE/OPD. Create solutions to improve the customer experience while resolving quality concerns. Strong multitasking skills and engineering flexibility are a must, allowing for the development for new solutions as the company gains experience in the EV arena. Job is hybrid, with three days a week on-site at FEL in Dearborn. Occasional supplier visits (mostly local) will also be required.
