In this position...
This pivotal, highly visible role sits within our Global Manufacturing Engineering Architecture and Program Delivery department and helps shape future model programs to be leaders in the industry. The Architecture Team acts on early insights with the Product Development Team to optimize all aspects of new model production. As part of this team, you will interact directly with leadership to deliver the following as it relates to the three major Manufacturing functions of Body Construction Engineering, Global Paint Engineering, and Final Assembly Engineering for a major area of a vehicle i.e. Upperbody or Underbody. Upperbody consists of but is not limited to exterior and interior trim systems, bodysides, cab, box, front end, etc. Underbody includes but is not held solely to powertrain, chassis/frame, floor pans, etc.

This position will work with our partners across the business including Quality, Ford Customer Service Division (FCSD), and Supply Chain to provide financial guidance and develop business cases to drive cost improvements. Designed as an agile position, in this role you will help the warranty finance organization respond quickly to areas of the business that require further attention and/or a fresh perspective to drive improvement.

We are seeking an experienced Architecture Management Office (AMO) Leader to join our Industrial System Enterprise Architecture organization. This role is responsible for defining and operationalizing foundational enterprise architecture processes and strategy. Key initiatives include the implementation of a new Enterprise Architecture (EA) tool and the establishment of a streamlined architecture intake process. This position will work closely with other EA leaders, and EA Architecture Management, to ensure consistency, efficiency, and alignment within our industrial systems EA team and the broader Ford EA Organization.
This is a hybrid opportunity and the AMO Leader will be onsite four days/ week in our PDC. Relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidates.
