The Seat Plastics D&R is responsible for designing, developing, validating and releasing interior seat plastic parts under his/her responsibility for the assigned programs, assuring the quality and integrity of the parts.
The potential components include, but are not limited to, interior trim components such as ornamentation plastic and structural plastics.

The Thermal Systems Engineer is responsible for the prediction of heat transfer and energy usage in a vehicle. The specific focus is analyzing the powertrain cooling and heat management of forward vehicle programs. Thermal Systems Engineering integrates attributes including Mass properties, Aerodynamics, Climate, Fuel economy and Performance feel. Members of the section use CAE and physical test methods to quantify system level impacts on the vehicle underhood, underbody, and cabin due to powertrain heat. The responsibilities of the Thermal Systems Engineer include design, development, validation, and launch, including prototype builds of thermal systems, subsystems, and components.

The D&R (Design & Release) Engineer is responsible for the design, development, validation, release, and implementation of Body Interior (Cockpit and Trim) components and systems for assigned vehicle programs. This includes leading the development of master sections and ensuring all aspects of the design contribute to manufacturing efficiency, cost optimization, quality, craftsmanship, ergonomics, serviceability and overall vehicle performance. The D&R engineer is responsible for designing parts that comply with Corporate and Legal Requirements, signing off on compliance to Engineering Requirements, ES (Engineering Specifications), DR (Design Rules), and Manufacturing, Assembly, and Service requirements. The engineer is also responsible for parts incorporation at the Assembly Plant and addressing any design, fit/finish, or assembly issues during launch.

Your work will involve a combination for CAE analysis and physical testing ton ensure global Safety compliance and deliver consumer crash test performance such as NCAP, IIHS, and EuroNCAP.
