The Opportunity:

The Senior Manager, Payment Operations, Pay-Outs is a regional Operations leadership role requiring managerial skills and technical payments knowledge to ensure optimal business execution in Asia Pacific (APAC). The Pay-Outs team is responsible for cash management, foreign exchange (FX), payout and refunding processes. The APAC team extends across Australia, India, and Singapore. The Senior Manager will collaborate with colleagues from the business and other back office functions like Finance, Compliance, Network Management and Product to ensure smooth day to day payment processing. The Senior Manager will coach the team and deploy extensive payments knowledge and stakeholder management skills to deliver high impact results to the business.

The Senior Manager, Payment Operations, Pay-Outs must be both strategic and tactical to ensure success. As a regional lead, the Senior Manager must be capable of understanding complex operational and transaction banking nuances to make sound and sustainable decisions during APAC business hours. The Senior Manager will also develop talent within the team and create opportunities to recognize top performers. Throughout all this, the Senior Manager will collaborate with teams across the organization and drive transparent communication to ensure alignment and successful outcomes.
What you'll be doing:

  • Manage a regional team to execute APAC Operations related to cash management, FX, outgoing payment processing, and refunds
  • Manage and control the daily operations processes
  • Deliver regulatory reports timely and accurately
  • Investigate and resolve complex APAC Operations escalations
  • Build strong relationships with business leads and stakeholders in Compliance, Finance, Network Management, and Product
  • Optimize payment network processes
  • Provide leadership, coaching and guidance to the Pay-Outs team
  • Be the expert and “go-to” person in all the operational processes and systems
  • Bring qualitative and quantitative feedback to team to inform decision-making
  • Use data to make decisions that will impact operational processes
  • Be the main point of contact for the different internal and external stakeholders that rely on the team’s operational execution

Here’s What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience managing teams of 5+ people
  • Deep understanding of cash management, FX, and payment processing
  • Deadline focussed with strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Ability to work independently and drive initiatives to completion in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent analytical and computer skills including proficiency in Excel and other online tools (Google Apps, etc.)
  • Passion for problem solving and helping customers
  • Highly effective communication skills
  • A positive, can-do attitude motivated to drive ongoing, continuous improvement
  • 7+ years experience in payments industry, finance or banking operations

individual contributor (IC) role , you will combine analytical rigor with strategic thinking to drive revenue growth, optimize margins, and enhance the client payment experience. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate complex market insights into actionable pricing strategies that support Flywire’s ambitious business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute strategic pricing models that align with Flywire’s business goals and market positioning
  • Analyze transaction-level data and pricing performance metrics to identify opportunities for price optimization and margin improvements, including FX margin and rate management across multiple currencies.
  • Conduct market research and competitive benchmarking to evaluate pricing trends across industries and regions.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Finance teams to develop pricing strategies that enhance revenue growth and client retention.
  • Analyze transaction-level data and pricing performance metrics to identify opportunities for price optimization and margin improvements
  • Monitor global regulatory and economic developments that may influence pricing decisions, ensuring compliance with regional and international requirements

Here’s What We’re Looking For:

  • A strategic thinker with strong analytical capabilities and a deep understanding of pricing models and financial analysis.
  • Experience with foreign exchange (forex) pricing, rate management, and cross-border payments in a multi-currency environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.

We, at Flywire are looking for a
Cloud Security Specialist to provide support and improve our Cloud Security program. In this role, you’ll work with SRE and DevOps teams to improve our public cloud account’s security. As a Cloud Security Specialist you will report to the Senior Cloud Security Engineer, who’s based in Valencia.

  • Drafting security requirements for the infrastructure and the network that support any system, service or integration needed by Flywire
  • Develop new Infrastructure as Code security controls
  • Performing technical review on any cloud and infrastructure configuration change, including new integrations and secret management
  • Provide support on cloud and infrastructure regulatory and compliance controls, providing evidence during audits
  • Develop cloud security solutions to meet incident response and participate in security incident response process as cloud SME
  • Work on daily cloud and infrastructure security operations and tasks
  • Influence the design and implementation of the infrastructure and network with security and privacy by design mindset

Here’s What We’re Looking For

  • 1–3 years of experience in cloud and infrastructure security, including cloud and network security reviews and defining security best practices.
  • A “breaker” mindset with a strong ability to identify vulnerabilities and design effective mitigating controls.
  • Hands-on experience with security administration in cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps tooling (e.g., GitHub, GitLab, Buildkite).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Golang.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Chef, or Ansible.
  • Comfortable using command-line interfaces (e.g., Bash, PowerShell).
  • Understanding of network and infrastructure engineering principles.
  • Practical experience with cloud-native security tools (e.g., AWS GuardDuty, AWS WAF, GCP Security Command Center).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.

The Opportunity:

The Senior Manager, Payment Operations, Pay-Outs is a regional Operations leadership role requiring managerial skills and technical payments knowledge to ensure optimal business execution in Asia Pacific (APAC). The Pay-Outs team is responsible for cash management, foreign exchange (FX), payout and refunding processes. The APAC team extends across Australia, India, and Singapore. The Senior Manager will collaborate with colleagues from the business and other back office functions like Finance, Compliance, Network Management and Product to ensure smooth day to day payment processing. The Senior Manager will coach the team and deploy extensive payments knowledge and stakeholder management skills to deliver high impact results to the business.

The Senior Manager, Payment Operations, Pay-Outs must be both strategic and tactical to ensure success. As a regional lead, the Senior Manager must be capable of understanding complex operational and transaction banking nuances to make sound and sustainable decisions during APAC business hours. The Senior Manager will also develop talent within the team and create opportunities to recognize top performers. Throughout all this, the Senior Manager will collaborate with teams across the organization and drive transparent communication to ensure alignment and successful outcomes.
What you'll be doing:

  • Manage a regional team to execute APAC Operations related to cash management, FX, outgoing payment processing, and refunds
  • Manage and control the daily operations processes
  • Deliver regulatory reports timely and accurately
  • Investigate and resolve complex APAC Operations escalations
  • Build strong relationships with business leads and stakeholders in Compliance, Finance, Network Management, and Product
  • Optimize payment network processes
  • Provide leadership, coaching and guidance to the Pay-Outs team
  • Be the expert and “go-to” person in all the operational processes and systems
  • Bring qualitative and quantitative feedback to team to inform decision-making
  • Use data to make decisions that will impact operational processes
  • Be the main point of contact for the different internal and external stakeholders that rely on the team’s operational execution

Here’s What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience managing teams of 5+ people
  • Deep understanding of cash management, FX, and payment processing
  • Deadline focussed with strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Ability to work independently and drive initiatives to completion in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent analytical and computer skills including proficiency in Excel and other online tools (Google Apps, etc.)
  • Passion for problem solving and helping customers
  • Highly effective communication skills
  • A positive, can-do attitude motivated to drive ongoing, continuous improvement
  • 7+ years experience in payments industry, finance or banking operations
