Solution Architect jobs at Flex in United States, Austin

We are looking to add a Solutions Architect to our Value Added Service team. You will report to our Sr Director of Sales Operations in Austin TX

What a typical day looks like:

• Working with cross-functional teams creating winning innovative and customer specific solutions with speed and efficiency
• Propose and/or design Customer technical solutions, which include creating demos and proofs of concept with Innovative Supply chain solutions
• Provide consistent feedback from the market to Product Management and Development teams and coordinate gaps between product functionality and customer requirements
• Process - model the Customer specific solution, understanding flows, volumes, etc. and interface with other areas of Flex to obtain the data required
• Ensure that all technical and business requirements of the customer / prospect are clearly understood, and articulate how our solutions can meet them
• Ensure knowledge and best practice transfer throughout the organization
• Ensure effective transitions (new customer introductions and exits) by working closely with the ops team and setting up a transition to account management team
• Solve customers' business issues with GSS technology, brainstorming with cross functional teams on technical propositions to enhance customer value add
• Lead supply chain workshops with customers

The experience we are looking to add to our team:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering; Supply Chain Management; Business Administration
• A relevant background and demonstrated experience in supply chain management, logistics or similar
• 6+ years of experience working as a Solutions Architect for Cloud/Servers/Data Centers
• Strong analytical thinking skillsin order toanalyze and understand complex supply chain challenges
• Ideally previous experience doing supply chain and data analysis
• Strong MS Excel skills are required in this role
• Willingness to travel up to 30% on

• Experience with BI topics (e.g.Power BI or Tableau) would be an advantage
• Experience with data visualization and strong presentation skills
