Principle Accountabilities:

  • Performs complex engineering tests, checkouts, and development engineering tasks.
  • Analyzes engineering test results, and implements changes to resolve problems.
  • Collects data, analyzes results and implements procedures.
  • Reviews project instructions and blueprints to ascertain test specifications, procedures, objectives, test equipment, nature of technical problem and possible solutions such as part redesign, substitution of material or parts or rearrangement of parts or subassemblies.
  • Devises, fabricates and assembles new or modified mechanical components or assemblies for products such as industrial equipment and machinery, power equipment, server systems, machine tools and measuring instruments.
  • Sets up and conducts tests of complete units and components under operational conditions to investigate design, or to obtain data for development, standardization, quality control and problem resolution
  • Analyzes indicated and calculated test results in relation to design or rated specifications and test objectives, and modifies or adjusts equipment to meet specifications.
  • Records test procedures and results, numerical and graphical data, and recommendations for changes in product or test method.
  • Maintains software, documentation and equipment to the latest revision or operationalspecifications.
  • Assists engineers in developing and designing hardware and software required to test customer products per their specifications.
  • Trains technicians and operators on products, processes and equipment.

SPECIALIZED JOB RESPONSIBILITIESmay be required for certain positions. These could include one or more of the following duties:

  • Assist with the development and delivery of customer presentations and interface with customers.
  • Partner with engineers on outside third party developments
  • Organize documentation (specifications, schematics, and procedures).
  • Perform tests per customer specifications and requirements.

Education / Experience

Typically requires an Associates degree, military training, equivalent vocational training, or equivalent experience. Typically requires 4 years of related experience.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

Has awareness of new technologies/ techniques. Demonstrates detailed functional knowledge and may lead process. Demonstrates advanced technical skills. Has awareness of Flex technologies/ techniques. Demonstrates basic functional and/or process knowledge and participates in process. Requires basic competency related to function. Demonstrates technical skills.

Reporting to thethewill ensure the accurate compilation, analysis, and reporting of financial data as well as assist with developing, implementing, and maintaining systems, procedures, and policies to ensure accurate data in compliance with corporate and legislative requirements.


What a typical day looks like:

  • Prepare and post top-side journal entries related to Corporate Accounting.

  • Assist with the preparation of consolidated financial statements and perform variance analysis on certain critical accounts.

  • Assist with preparation of financials and related workpaper required for 8K/earnings release.

  • Correspond directly with internal and external auditors and provide requested schedules to auditors to support necessary audit requirements.

  • Perform technical research on various accounting issues and provide accounting consultation advice to business partners under US GAAP.

  • Oversight of other generaldepartmental-specificresponsibilities including, among others, variance analyses tied to monthly close and compliance with the internal control requirements of SOX.

  • Support special projects as necessary, such as purchase accounting matters related to merger and acquisition activity.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field or equivalent experience and training.

  • 4+ years of experience in a financial reporting/accounting role at a public company or a public accounting firm

  • Good communication skills (both verbal and written) and excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and its application are essential.

  • Good time management skills and should be able to remain organized under periods of reporting pressure.

  • Ability to collaborate with senior management, corporate tax, external auditors, internal auditors, and various departments within the company.

  • Ability to think independently, perform own research on issues, and come up with suggested resolutions to be presented to supervisor.

  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Here are a few preferred experiences (not required):

  • Big Four experience is a plus.

  • CPA or CPA candidate is a plus.

  • Experience with the accounting ERP system and experience in OneStream is a plus.

  • Experience with Workiva is a plus.

  • Prepare RFQ’s and solicit quotations from automation suppliers. Evaluate supplier quotations to determine the best combination of technical solution, cost and timing.
  • Develop budget and schedule for projects and manage projects to stay within them. Able to quickly cost analyze and work up the financial justification for automating
  • Conduct equipment design reviews and provide design guidance to suppliers.
  • Manage automation suppliers through all phases of projects.
  • Provide on-site support during machine build, debug andtesting/qualification.
  • Supervise installation and testing to verify requirements and specifications are met.
  • Draft qualification protocols and support equipment qualification activities.
  • Develop manufacturing solutions with the best combination of manual, semi-automation and/or full automation. Analyze and plan workforce utilization, space requirements, and workflow.

  • Support new product development automation needs, facilitate assembly processes through the implementation of assembly cells and automated equipment at NPI stage and ensure meeting development timeline.

  • Experience with managing advanced process development activities.
  • Previous experience working within Manufacturing supporting NPI and Product Transfers.
  • Strong customer and Program management experience with Tier 1 OEMs.
  • Good knowledge of System Integration processes and Liquid Coolinginfrastructure.
  • Ability to interface and communicate with different levels of the organization, both at customer & Flex.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail. Ability to dig deep into issues when needed.
