Job Summary

Reporting to theQuality Manager IE,therole will be part of anexcellent team, whose members are strong communicators, ambitious & innovative.You will be involved in the planning and execution of inspection and testing of products to verify conformance with specifications, whilst communicating with production all identified issues to achieve Permanent Corrective Action Response.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Collection and validationof productiondatato support continuous improvementactivities.

  • Support development ofStandard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)for key aspects of product manufacturing.

  • Conductsample incoming goods inspections asrequired.

  • Completesample inspections ofWork inProgress (WIP) andfinished goods.

  • Complete sample inspections ofCritical to Quality (CTQ)product requirements.

  • CommunicateQuality observations and alerts to production teams.

  • Support the continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS)

  • Assistoperations team in tracking, documenting, and reporting qualitylevels againstgoals/KPIs.

  • Conduct internal Qualityprocessaudits as part of the Internal Audit Team.

  • Participate in Gemba walks andclosing out of assigned actions asrequired.

  • Support theNon-Conforming Goods Processand supplier corrective actions.

  • Supportresolution of internal and customer nonconformances.

  • Provide training and support on Quality toolsto productionteams,as necessary.

  • Represent the Quality Department at the morning production meetings.

  • Support the Quality team in achieving department Targets and Objectives.

  • Any other tasks that aredeemedcommensuratewiththe

  • Minimum 2 yearsProductionand QCexperiencein switchgear manufacturing(or similar).

  • Ideally possess an ISO 9001 Internal Auditor Qualification although trainingcan be provided

  • A relevant third level qualification(Mechanical / Electrical / Quality)would be an advantage.

  • Analytical person, disciplined in collecting information,ascertainingroot cause of issues,Identifying, and implementing practical & effective solutions.

  • An understandingof quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools

  • ProficientMicrosoft office user(includingSharepointand Teams).

  • Effective communication, interpersonal, organisational, and administrative skills.

  • Must have strong customer focusandattention to detail.

    IT Support Technician
    located in
    Dundalk, Ireland

    The environment is primarily Microsoft Windows; Windows 10, Windows Servers, Active Directory, Office 365 and General Windows Desktop Software’s

    What a typical day looks like:

    • You will be providing hands on support across both our facilities, with technical tasks ranging from full PC installations, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing of computer hardware, software, wireless, network printers, related peripherals, mobile devices, videoconference equipment, etc.
    • You will be involved in IT desk and office moves as needed.
    • On-boarding and off-boarding employees.
    • Deal with server-based changes /issues when needed.
    • Maintain in depth and comprehensible support documentation.
    • Maintain your own tickets for IT related tasks.
    • Complete a daily schedule to ensure the enterprise systems are not only working as required but remain a secure and safe environment.
    • Backups
    • Asset management
    • Anti-Virus
    • Critical patches
    • Deal with server-based changes /issues when needed.
    • Maintain in depth and comprehensible support documentation.
    • You will be able to respond to security threats in the environment and assist with any remediation.
  • The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

  • You will be able to respond to security threats in the environment and assist with any remediation.
  • Excellent communication and people skills across the spectrum of remote staff, on site staff to Board Executives.
  • Ability to work effectively, demonstrating strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills within a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Ability to manage your time effectively while coping with many different projects at the same time.
  • You will have an understanding and be able to manage software licensing.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft operating systems including an understanding of Windows server.
  • Good knowledge of TCP/IP to assist in resolving network related issues.
  • Understanding of PC hardware set-up and domain configuration.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory
  • Knowledge of backup systems
  • Knowledge of virtual environments
  • Flexible attitude towards working hours as out of hours work will be required for major platform changes/ updates.
  • A full, clean driving licence as commuting between sites is required.
  • Formal IT qualification
