You will be responsible for…

• Implementing modern BE applications and infrastructure in a microservices architecture, utilizing the latest technologies and development practices.
• Deep diving into the latest blockchain technology, and becoming an expert in the fundamentals, protocols, and features of the blockchains.
• Collaborating effectively with other developers, engineers, and other roles while showcasing independent problem-solving abilities.
• Ensuring that the Fireblocks platform remains at the forefront of blockchain technology!

Requirements

To thrive in this role, you should bring the following qualifications and experience:

• 5+ years of experience with Typescript/NodeJS, Python or Go.
• Experience in microservices development and cloud-based architecture.
• Experience working on high-scale distributed systems
• Versatile end-to-end technical experience, spanning from OS level through application and cloud, to CI/CD
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, capable of independently exploring, proposing, and implementing well-thought-out solutions.
• Demonstrated commitment to excellence, proactiveness, and driving for success.

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with C++.
• Experience with Blockchains ecosystem.

As part of your role, you will be developing new features for the Fireblocks Payments engine, working closely with our Product and Design teams.
You will work with a variety of web development technologies while utilizing continuous development and fully automated testing coverage.
As a senior developer you’ll be responsible for creating technical designs, mentoring and setting development standards for your team members.

What You'll Bring

• 5+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer .
• Experience in web development of large scale applications - mandatory.
• Experience working with NodeJS/Typescript - advantage.
• Frontend development orientation - advantage.

What You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 7+ years of experience working as a full-stack engineer
• Experience working on customer funnel flows
• Proficiency in NodeJS and Typescript, with a strong understanding of their respective ecosystems
• Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, low-latency and reliable platform components in production environment, while serving heavy-traffic requests
• Solid understanding of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience working with asynchronous flows to scale, broad experience with message brokers such as: AWS SQS, RabbitMQ, Kafka
• Experience with Redis
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment
