Responsibilities

  • The role will be focused on Service Provider & Enterprise customers in Egypt.
  • You will be primary point-of-contact for these major account.
  • Maintaining contact with account at a high, executive level, focusing on the strategic nature of the relationship.
  • Sells the organization’s products or services to and maintains relationships with existing accounts. Responsible for expanding and retaining named accounts while ensuring ongoing customer service.
  • Responsible for identifying and qualifying long-term and short-term business opportunities and pro-actively identifying and addressing competitive threats
  • Prepares formal proposals and presentations, presents to all levels of the organization including executives, leads negotiations, coordinates complex decision making processes and overcomes objectives to closure, and closes sales in a professional and effective manner
  • Responsible for significant key partner relationship management and development. Facilitate executive-level relationships between the customer, F5 and its partners including; facilitating communication on strategic and tactical issues and maintaining continuity
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technical developments and government regulations that effect target markets
  • Must understand organization’s business needs, develop application of products and services and communicate how F5’s technical value added solutions will address those needs
  • Research and develop lists of potential customers within an organization; regularly follow-up on leads and developing leads, and act to close deals
  • Determine market strategies and goals for each product and service; understanding the strategies, goals and objectives of named accounts
  • Assume a leadership role in coordinating account strategy and tactics for sales support team (inside sales, systems engineering, sales management)
  • Assume full responsibility for accurate sales forecasting by demonstrating in depth knowledge of sales cycles from initial contact through the procurement process, ensure Salesforce is utilized appropriately and maintained on a regular basis
  • Develop and maintain detailed account profiles including organizational charts for all accounts to be reviewed by management on a quarterly basis
  • Develops strategy for sustained management and success of business and coordinates resources to ensure goals are met
  • Provides regular updates to senior sales and operations staff concerning account issues, financial status
  • Meet and exceed sales quotas and revenue goals
  • Considered a trusted resource by customer base and an expert in the field
  • Has credibility to influence at senior levels within named account e.g. SeniorExecutive/Board/Chair
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Significant directwork experience in a relevant customer set
  • Good understanding of Enterprise tender processes
  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • Requires specialized knowledge in networking products, preferably those of F5
  • Experience with Internet related software or systems
  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills
  • Excellent solution selling and presentation abilities
  • Excellent client interfacing and customer-focused approach
  • Ability to provide and work from a home office located within the territory

Job may be performed on-site at a customer facility or data center, or in an office environment sitting at a desk or computer table. Duties require the ability to utilize a computer, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material. Duties require the ability to travel up to 60% via automobile and airplane, and may require being on call periodically and working outside normal working hours (evenings and weekends)

We currently have an opportunity for a talented Solutions Engineer (SE) to join our Egypt organisation . This is a sales and technical role with focus on customer/partners and is part of the sales organization. The SE’s primary responsibility is to support the sales team with technical skills and provide technical knowledge around F5 solutions to our customers. To be effective, an SE needs to have excellent technical skills and knowledge on both F5 products and the “eco-system” that we work in. Primary Responsibilities:

Global Responsibilities

  • Provides complex design and systems engineering configurations
  • Partners with product development and product management to assist with Change Request (CR) and Customer Special Request (CSR) cases
  • Maintains a high level of technical knowledge of F5 and the relevant industry
  • Utilize the F5 Sales Strategy and Solution Messaging to identify solutions for customer business objectives

Channel support activities include:

  • Support F5 channel partner sales initiatives
  • Provide channel partners sustainable training on F5 solutions and competitive differentiation
  • Provide channel partners technical expertise and oversight as required
  • Proactively provide consultative support
  • Work in collaboration with Channel and Sales management to establish channel partners and to qualify partner’s ability to sell F5 solutions

Post sales activities include:

  • Understand and follow escalation process
  • Partner with the F5 Technical Support and customers/partners to resolve issues

Qualifications

  • Multiple years of related experience working withinCloud, Security,Application Delivery, NetworkInfrastructure, DevOps,SaaS, IaaS or PaaS environments.
  • Strong presentation,communication, account management (pre-sales) skills
  • Significant experience and a number of years pre-sales / SystemsEngineering expertise
  • BS/BA or equivalent work experience
  • F5 core product experience or relevant experience in key competitor offerings required
  • In-depth industry knowledge and understanding of F5 technologies, solutions and product offerings strongly preferred
  • Advanced written and oral communication skills
  • Firstclass presentationskills
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Experience with MS office suite or Works
  • Fluent verbal and writing skills in Arabic and English

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for upholding F5’s Business Code of Ethics and for promptly reporting violations of the Code or other company policies.
  • Sales Training – partner with the F5 sales team to coordinate sales training opportunities; ensuring partners have the tools to selling F5 solutions and understanding business transaction (including deal registration and other processes)
  • Pipeline Management – Ensure Partners (VAR’s, LAR’s, System Builders and Distributors) and field sales reps and management are working together in the sales process, lead generation, registering opportunities, accurately forecasting revenue and tracking to required revenue goals established by their discount tier.
  • Relationship Management – developing strong top to bottom relationships throughout the partner organization, ensuring partner compliance with the F5 Advantage Partner Program and fostering working relationship between the F5 sales and technical teams and the partner sales and technical teams
  • Resolve business problems associated with partners relationships; including but not limited to deal registration, service renewals and credit issues
  • Marketing/Demand Generation – Identifies, in conjunction with Partners (VAR’s, LAR’s, System Builders and Distributors), new sales opportunities leveraging F5 marketing funds when necessary. Manage channel marketing funds to ensure event and partner success
  • Business Planning – Develop top partner and territory activities using business and territory planning templates. Ensuring that partner is able to effectively position F5 as best solution to customer such as, common sales objectives, training initiatives, marketing activities, evaluation gear strategy, certification opportunities and developing accurate profiles of the partners business
  • Foster sales engagements between Strategic Partner sales force and F5 sales force
  • Special Projects/Reporting - working on strategic initiatives as established by channel management and reporting business issues/opportunities as requested by channel and/or executive management
  • Manage distribution relationships in the field
  • Leverage all F5’s resources to maximize opportunities with Strategic Partner
  • Utilize relationships with strategic Business Development partners in the field

Qualifications

  • Fluent English and Arabic
  • French speaker is desirable
  • BA in Marketing or Business
  • Significant experience in technology sales in a channel environment
  • Experience in marketing in a technology organization
  • Experience in two-tiered and direct channel resale models
  • Ability to operate Microsoft applications such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Knowledge of enterprise networks and applications desired
  • Background in software/hardware sales and distribution – with large Software, Hardware, and/or Networking Companies
  • Proven track record of success in sales and marketing programs
  • Strong knowledge of Application Delivery Networks
  • Experience negotiating OEM and Partner contracts
