We are looking for
Senior specialist in Business Consulting

• Develop a strategy and strategic and financial plans for EY's clients
• Develop target banking business models (channels - digital/offline, client segments, sales and service models, etc.)
• Analyze product lines, and develop new banking products
• Analyze and optimize the operating model (org. structure, processes, headcount planning, etc.) to improve efficiency and better use of the resources
• Develop business concepts for digital banking solutions and support the implementation of IT tools
• Research of the world's best practices in banking

Education requirements:

• Bachelor of Science (Economics, Finance)

Experience requirements:

• 3+ years of relevant professional experience within Consulting (Big 4)
• Experience or strong interest in the financial services sector (banking, insurance), understanding of banks' operations and banking products

Skills and attributes:

• Strong core consulting skills (analytical skills, critical thinking, information structuring)
• Ability to perform financial statement analysis
• Confident MS Excel user
• Confident MS PowerPoint user with the ability to create slides that are clear and impactful
• Efficient communication and a team spirit, balanced by a healthy sense of autonomy
• Good knowledge of business English (+B2), and fluency in Russian

to enhance our SC&O Consulting practice in Amsterdam (The Netherlands). In this role, you will be the driving force behind challenging transformative projects that significantly improve our clients' business performance.

Your key responsibilities

• Lead logistics transformation initiatives, driving impactful change that enhances client operations.
• Collaborate with Senior Logistics & Fulfilment Executives at global organizations to design and implement innovative strategies in Logistics and Fulfilment.
• Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with internal teams and clients, identifying new business opportunities in an international context (e.g., responding to RFPs, developing proposals, and contributing to thought leadership).
• Design and execute comprehensive logistics strategies, leveraging digital tools such as WMS, TMS, and logistics control towers in partnership with technology teams and third-party providers.
• Stay abreast of technological advancements and innovations in digital logistics, analytics, hyper-automation, and the broader supply chain ecosystem.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Excellent analytical capabilities that help you to strategize and think conceptually with the communication skills to share your ideas in a convincing way.
• Strong project management, stakeholder management, and change management skills that allow you to deliver complex transformation projects within set boundaries.
• A commercial acumen that enables you to identify and develop high-quality relationships, converting them into business opportunities and effectively selling consulting projects for sustained growth.
• Leadership experience with a people-centric approach, committed to mentoring and developing team members in an international setting.
• 6 – 8 years of experience in supply chain management consulting, with a focus on logistics, operational excellence, and digital tools (e.g., TMS, WMS, OMS, control towers).
• A master’s degree (WO) in Supply Chain Management, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, with fluency in English.

Ideally, you will also have

• Certification and/or extensive hands-on experience with tools such as Blue Yonder TMS/WMS, SAP TM, and Aera.
• Experience engaging with both senior executives and operational personnel within client organizations.
• An open and flexible mindset regarding international assignments and diverse projects within the supply chain.
• Experience in developing and delivering logistics decarbonization programs for multinational clients.
• Proficiency in the Dutch language.

Your key responsibilities

• Understands the due diligence process and has experience in financial analysis, write and/or review detailed reports regarding due diligence and financial analysis
• Analyze financial and operational results of target companies using accounting information and interviews with management
• Identify and convey key deal issues having impact on purchase price or deal structure
• Demonstrates and applies in-depth subject knowledge to deliverables and has general understanding of other-related disciplines
• Lead critical engagements, working closely with the engagement partners/ directors
• Focus on team’s key priorities while managing several large to medium-size projects
• Counsel team members on the project on KPIs, key financial drivers, sector analysis, etc.
• Ensures that team members deliver quality service as per client’s needs and priorities
• Measure, monitor and improve client service by guiding team members and driving excellence in service delivery within the defined geographical area
• Prepare engagement budgets and timetables, and manage delivery against them
• Reviews quality of deliverables, in terms of accuracy of research findings, presentation of data, logical reasoning of points of view, usage of crisp and effective language, and comprehensiveness of scope vis-à-vis the agreed scope
• Provide expert reviews for all projects within the assigned subject
• Identifies, develops and implements best practices in projects. Defines need for new information requirements and provides feedback on new sources.
• Manages efficiency and productivity of team members on a day-to-day basis. Ensures adherence to SaT work-flow protocol and tools
• Assists in capacity planning, competency mapping and recruitment of resources for the assigned teams
• Contribute to L&D initiatives though regular trainings on relevant topics & mentoring of team members

Skills and attributes for success

• Relevant experience in Financial Due Diligence, external audit experience, mergers and acquisitions transactions, Corporate M&A and credit rating
• Strong analytical and project management skill
• Effective written/verbal communication and presentation skills
• Strong drive to take new initiatives and ability to adapt to new situations and ideas
• Advanced knowledge and experience in any of the following sectors will be an added advantage – Financial Services, Oil and Gas, Technology, Consumer Products, Power and Utilities and Life Science
• Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal and teaming skills.
• Willingness to travel, when necessary
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, primarily Excel & Power point, familiarity with analytical tools like Alteryx, Power BI, Power pivot, Tableau etc. will be an added advantage

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Chartered Accountancy degree or MBA in Finance from a premier institute with 8-10 years of experience
• Relevant experience in Financial Due Diligence, external audit experience, mergers and acquisitions transactions, experience in the field of financial planning and analysis, statutory accounting and credit rating
