This role ensures data integrity, consistency, scalability, and alignment with the organization’s enterprise data standards, while enabling long-term data governance.


As a Databricks Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will be the technical authority and hands-on expert driving the design, development, and optimization of the data platform on the Databricks Unified Analytics platform.


You will work closely with enterprise architects, data engineers, and SAP BDC teams to leverage Databricks’ capabilities for scalable ETL, advanced analytics, and AI/ML workloads. Your role is critical in enabling seamless data integration, processing, and transformation between SAP systems and cloud-based data lakes and warehouses.

Your key responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end data architecture strategy across SAP BDC initiatives, including data modeling, transformation, and governance.
  • Define target and transition architectures for both SAP and non-SAP data domains, integrating with modern platforms such as Azure, AWS, Snowflake, and Databricks.

  • Manage communications with client tax liaisons, client trust administration teams and client trust officers to gather required information, to share information to support informed decision-making, and obtain instruction or authorization necessary for timely, accurate production of tax information statements, tax returns and related reporting

  • Manage engagement deliverables and team resources to achieve timely and accurate delivery of tax compliance services while effectively managing engagement economics
  • Advise and provide direction on complex tax matters, set expectations, coordinate daily work activities, and assign tasks to staff and seniors.

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a professional services or tax services organization in the financial services industry
  • Broad exposure to federal income taxation and exposure to state and local tax
  • Proficient in the use of various tax and accounting technologies
  • Excellent teaming, leadership, organizational, and verbal/written communication skills
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Enrolled Agent (EA) or licensed attorney

Your key responsibilities

With the Compensation team, you'll join a talented group of professionals that provide global compensation advisory and compliance. Focusing on large-scale projects, you'll work with clients and tax preparers to coordinate tax authorization lists and answer questions (earnings, remittance of foreign taxes, tax equalization and settlement payments).
