  • Industry relationships with potential teaming partners, alliances, MBE/WBE small businesses, and competitors.
  • Outstanding client management and relationship skills, strong executive presence and influencing skills.
  • Solid understanding of the marketplace, industry, competitive intelligence, and account information.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing and resolving conflict.
  • Bachelor’s Degree

Ideally, you'll also have:

  • Strong coaching and mentoring skills.
  • Team selling experience.

What we offer you

  • We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $200,000 to $385,000. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $240,000 to $437,500. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
  • Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.

Your key responsibilities

As part of EY Americas TRM function, you will assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of various technology risk management program initiatives. We are looking for a high performing Associate Director to lead the execution of strategic and operational program initiatives. This position requires in-depth subject matter knowledge of technology, emerging technology, compliance, and risk management. The TRM function is focused on delivering technology risk insights and mitigating actions to the business to enable better risk-based decisions and align with client expectations.

  • Leads activities within the Technology Risk Management function of ECRM, including but not limited to:
    • Leading risk consultations regarding the implementation of new technologies, acting as a central figure in managing potential threats. This includes but is not limited to engaging the appropriate stakeholders based on the risk profile and identifying risk mitigation controls and activities
    • Executing technology risk assessments to identify technology risks across our Americas technology environment
    • Supporting risk mitigation and monitoring activities involving aspects such as third-party management, technology governance, awareness, and policy formulation, data security, business continuity planning, identity and access administration, application risk valuations, and ensuring compliance with essential norms
  • Assists with strategy formation, direction, and portfolio management of technology risk management activities
  • Assists in analyzing related legal and regulatory developments to confirm applicable requirements
  • Assists in maintaining and updating related EY policies, guidance, training, and communication plans to reflect new and/or changes to Artificial Intelligence laws, regulations, and standards
  • Collaborates with various functions across the organization, such as EY's Global Enterprise Technology, Client Technology, Global Information Security, and members of the business and Service Line Quality, to design and implement policies and processes to manage and mitigate technology risk
  • Creates reports on various program activities to be delivered to key program stakeholders, including senior leaders within the organization
  • Continuously maintains and expands knowledge of field of expertise and communicates new developments and resulting impact to program stakeholders and team members
  • Participates in various ad-hoc program projects, as needs develop
  • Manages junior level team members within the TRM function

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills as well as listening and interpretation skills; ability to interface and communicate effectively with all levels of EY personnel
  • Excellent organizational skills; demonstrated ability to create, plan and successfully handle multiple tasks simultaneously; and ability to meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
