The Manager Non-Life Actuarial role in EY in the UK is a critical management role in the growing field of tech industry actuarial analysis. As the Manager Non-Life Actuarial, you will work with leaders in the industry to develop comprehensive techniques to analyze and price non-life insurance business while staying current with global and domestic regulatory changes.
The successful candidate will possess strong insurance and finance-based expertise, a high level of problem-solving ability, and sound knowledge of relevant regulations. You will also be proactively involved in new and existing client relationships, oversee the development of client solutions and be capable of managing teams of individuals to proactively support client projects.
You will act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing them with solutions to their non-life insurance needs using a combination of analytics, research, and insights. This role involves assessing risks, developing strategies, and developing pricing models.
You should be ready to think innovatively to create creative solutions to clients’ needs, as well as be able to be responsible and reliable in delivering against these solutions. Your ability to engage with clients, provide exemplary service, and accurately deliver solutions will be essential to success.
You will proactively involve yourself in new and existing client relationships, oversee the development of their solutions and manage teams of individuals who are expected to also have sound insurance and finance-based expertise, a high level of problem-solving ability, and knowledge of relevant regulations.
