  • Manage a delivery team on Financial Services Data Platform transformation programmes. Client responsibilities

  • Managing a portfolio of TPRM engagements with our clients, responsible for the day-to-day running of the engagements including meeting quality, time and budget targets
  • Working with prospective clients to agree, scope and plan the delivery phase of engagements
  • Drive go-to-market strategy for TPRM services, including thought leadership, solution development, and alliance partnerships.
  • Champion the use of emerging technologies (e.g., AI, automation, continuous monitoring platforms) to enhance TPRM capabilities.
  • Oversee the design and implementation of scalable TPRM operating models and tooling (e.g., ServiceNow VRM, Archer, ProcessUnity).

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Team leadership and management experience, including the coaching and mentoring of more junior staff and direct reports
  • Strong academic record, ideally to a bachelor’s degree-level or equivalent industry experience
  • Awareness and understanding of National and International Security Standards (e.g., NIST, ISO27001), reporting standards (e.g., SOC/ISAE), and privacy or TPRM regulations, such as UK Data Protection Act, GDPR, DORA, etc.
  • Willingness to travel
  • Creative and independent with good problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for report writing, client presentations, and project management
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience (desirably within resilience, cyber, or TPRM). Preferably with experience in a consulting role in a leading consultancy firm.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex, multi-stakeholder programmes in regulated industries
  • Strong commercial acumen and experience managing large client accounts or portfolios.

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Experience in Financial Services, Government Organisations, or the Military
  • Industry related certification preferred (e.g., CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC, ISO27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor)

As an auditor at EY, you will provide independent verification of our clients’ compliance with accounting principles. By doing so, you play a meaningful role in helping businesses accurately reflect their financial picture. Your key responsibilities

Everything you do will come back to providing exceptional audit activities for our clients.

  • Leading fieldwork, managing performance and keeping engagement leaders updated on audits.
  • Accurately reporting on financial statements and providing meaningful insights into accounting and reporting matters.
  • Completing audit processes and documenting higher-risk areas to increase your technical and business skills.
  • Engaging clients and providing authoritative advice and professionalism throughout transactions.
  • Constantly developing your understanding of current market trends and sharing your knowledge to develop junior colleagues.
  • Understanding our clients’ unique ambitions and needs and referring them to colleagues in other teams and areas to broaden our business relationships where possible.

Skills and attributes for success

As you build your knowledge and experience, you’ll become a credible advisor, influencing clients and engagement teams on resolutions that will impact entire industries. To qualify for the role you must have

  • Experience delivering and reporting on external audits
  • Partly qualified as a chartered accountant e.g. ACA / ACCA / CA / ICAS / ICAEW
  • Non-financial services industry exposure

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Sector experience in one or more of the following: Oil & Gas; Energy; Power & Utilities; Retail; Transportation; Aviation; Supply Chain & Logistics; Consumer Goods
  • Knowledge of current market issues in the UK
  • Experience using SOX 404 and applying UK GAAP and IFRS
  • Project management or team leadership experience
  • The flexibility to constantly learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and a collaborative approach to management
