Your key responsibilities

  • Support EY stakeholders as a trusted procurement partner, contributing to project delivery and customer service excellence while helping realize cost savings and contract value.
  • Deliver sourcing projects for Tail Spend initiatives (typically $10K–$50K) across both Brand, Marketing and Communications (BMC) and Talent categories, ensuring timely execution and policy compliance.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders and Global Procurement colleagues to align with category strategies that support EY’s global objectives.
  • Build relationships with key business stakeholders and share category insights through regular updates.
  • Promote and facilitate adherence to Procurement and Supply Chain Global Policy and processes across project teams.
  • Assist with Requests for Proposals (RFPs), including commercial negotiations, and coordinate with Legal (GCO), Contract Management, and other business partners.
  • Contribute to process improvements through the use of Purchase Orders and AI tools to enhance sourcing efficiency and compliance.

Role description: Time Off coordinator (Associate)

In this role, you will provide efficient and effective processing of HR administration within specific procedural and service guidelines. You will be responsible for the accurate and speedy processing of all leave of absence activity (family leaves, unpaid leave, sickness absence etc) in accordance with agreed key performance indicators, and the coordination of this information for the precise processing of payroll activity.

Your key responsibilities

  • Deliver excellent service in line with leave of absence processes and ensure service level agreements are achieved. Follow work instructions to execute transactions of requests for time-off during employment.
  • Undertake cyclical activity aligned to the annual operational calendar.
  • Self-review that all process steps and payroll actions are fully completed to ensure accurate payroll processing and eradication of errors.
  • Action housekeeping and other related reports, taking appropriate actions identified within the reports.
  • Process administration in relation to employees requesting time-off including: sickness absence, maternity, paternity, shared parental leave and unpaid leave.
  • Resolve queries initiated by the EY Help HR Contact Centre team that require further investigation. Ensure satisfactory closure of issues that develop into cases, and ensure any learning is taken on board.
  • Maintain an up to date knowledge of current EY policy and process developments.
  • Ensure compliance with the Firm’s policies, best HR practice and employment legislation at all times.
  • Regularly support the continuous improvement initiative.

To qualify for the role you must have:

  • An ability to work to and enhance prescribed HR procedures
  • Attention to detail and a focus on accuracy and quality

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • Knowledge of operational HR systems

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Experience in delivery roles at a consulting/professional services company, System Integrator, or industry environment
  • Proven experience in delivering projects utilising both Waterfall and Agile methodologies
  • Subject matter expertise in delivering in 1-2 areas of technology passion such as application development, COTS application delivery, data and analytics or security and compliance
  • Hands on experience with day-to-day line and task management of junior talent
  • Confidence to facilitate meetings with clients, management, and individual contributors.

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Hands on experience with delivering in accordance with the Government Digital Service (GDS) standards
  • Hands on experience in at least one of the following platforms: Microsoft, ServiceNow, SAP, COTS products, large Open Source environments

Reporting to: Counsellor Advice, Contact Centre and Time Off Senior Manager


Working within the UK TSS, you will oversee and supervise the operations of the Time Off Associates and Senior Associates. This role in critical in ensuring the seamless processing of HR administration relating to time-off requests and managing a team effectively to ensure the delivery of high-quality HR services in line with the firm’s policies and procedures.

You will have the opportunity to cultivate professional working relationships with key Talent stakeholders including Employee Relations and other operational contacts. You will be required to ensure that our administration processes are effective and adapt these to policy and legislation changes.

You should be committed to your own personal development through completion of appropriate learning, and the development of the team by identifying potential process improvements. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to wider Talent Shared Services and HR projects and initiatives.

Your key responsibilities

  • Effective leadership and management the Time Off team, ensuring efficient processing of all time off activity; leave of absence requests, including family leave, unpaid leave, and sickness leave.
  • Ensure the team are adequately resourced to meet KPIs, SLAs and payroll processing requirements.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for time off processes, being the point of escalation for both the Associates and key stakeholders
  • Develop and review administration processes to ensure they are efficient, robust, and effective, highlighting service level and risk issues to Senior Manager and/or key stakeholders.
  • Provide effective resource planning to manage peaks in work volume effectively.
  • Ensure new team members are fully trained as part of the team induction process, identify potential process improvement, and commit to the personal development of individuals as well as the team.
  • Leverage innovative technologies to improve administration processes and deliver insightful dashboards and data for both decision-making purposes, auditing accuracy and process compliance.
  • Develop and maintain strong day to day relationships with key internal Talent stakeholders including Employee Relations and other operational contacts.
  • Resolve complex queries escalated by the team or by the business to ensure satisfactory closureof issues.
  • Conduct and support payroll auditing, spot checks and ensure compliance with the firm’s policies, best HR practices, and employment legislation.

Skills and attributes for success
We are looking for people with previous administration experience, ideally within a service delivery and absence management environment, including:

  • Strong leadership, planning and organisational skills with ability to manage and develop a team in a high-volume environment.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy is a must, with a focus on quality and identifying potential risk.
  • Able to demonstrate initiative and vision and identify opportunities for process improvement as well as process design.
  • Excellent communication skills and client service skills
  • Ability to work to and enhance prescribed HR procedures
  • Knowledge of operational HR systems and proficiency with HR-related technology including ServiceNow.
  • Develop a deep understanding of Leave of Absence policies and supporting legislation.
  • Respond to, manage, and resolve issues raised by key stakeholders and Senior Managers within TSS, recommending solutions.

To qualify for the role, you must have:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to influence and manage stakeholder relationships and adapt to change.
  • GCSE qualification level or equivalent
  • An ability to work to and enhance prescribed HR procedures.

  • Be able to work under pressure, support the team in prioritise workload and troubleshoot issues.
  • Strong organisational skills with an ability to deliver to deadlines and priories effectively.
  • Knowledge of HR Leave of Absence administration.
