Your key responsibilities
As a manager in our real estate tax practice, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating US tax compliance and tax advisory work for clients. You will work on key client issues in US federal, international and state and local taxation with a focus on implementing tax strategies that align with the client's business objectives.
You will manage US tax compliance accounts for real estate funds and/or private equity funds. You will review and analyze extensive portfolio of investments and relevant financial data, make appropriate tax adjustments, and review various federal tax returns (Form 1065, Form 1120, Form 1120-REIT) as well as Schedule K-1 & K-3s packages for the investors. You will be responsible for reviewing partnership agreements and private placement memorandums for US tax implications of items such as book and tax allocations, management and incentive fees.
