Your key responsibilities

Working as a tax professional, your work activities include but not limited to mastering tax laws, dealings with authorities, preparing tax advice report, researching, preparing corporate income tax returns, preparing presentations and email correspondence, communicating with the client in an organized and knowledgeable manner, demonstrating flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks and communicating potential conflicts to a supervisor.

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in Taxation, Accounting or Auditing
  • Excellent oral and written English skills (including strong presentation skills)
  • Computer skills (e.g., MS Office)
  • Committed to providing quality outcomes

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Working experience in Taxation is preferable
  • Working experience in Auditing is advantageous

Your key responsibilities

You will be part of a team serving clients in various public and private industries and sectors. You will have an opportunity to directly interface with our clients and support the day-to-day project management activities by analyzing the client data/information, and preparing the commensurate analyses. You will support and actively participate in analysis of large datasets and the related evaluation of the pertinent laws and regulations and collaborating with firm subject matter professionals to analyze the client facts. As part of the Corporate Tax Advisory practice, you will provide guidance and direction to the associates, support them on various engagement and the related activities. You will also play an important role in delivering client engagements and working directly with CTA Managers and Partners to serve our clients.

Your key responsibilities

  • Consult and handle all corporate legal processes (e.g. compliance issues, transactions, agreements, intellectual property, financial/securities offerings, labor and data protection) with sharp attention to detail.
  • Experience in working with the public companies, listed companies, and IPO procedure would be an advantage.
  • Structure, draft and review reports and other legal documents, including administering all contracts.
  • Dealing with the authorities.
  • Mentor and able to arrange training workshops.
  • Providing supervision to team members with specialized legal services; and
  • Able to work under pressure and multi-tasking environment.

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in Laws
  • A minimum of 1-3 years’ experience as a corporate lawyer
  • Proven background on corporate law (e.g. contract law, tax law, accounting, securities law, bankruptcy, intellectual property rights and data protection, etc.)
  • Highly analytical with a strong attention to detail and a pragmatic approach.
  • Outstanding administrative skills, managerial skills, negotiating and interpersonal skills
