  • Excellent organizational with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of efficiency
  • High degree of flexibility, adapt to changing client and stakeholders needs, and ability to meet tight deadlines in a dynamic work environment

Your key responsibilities

  • Manage audits of company(ies) headquartered in Switzerland and/or subsidiaries of multinational groups
  • Help build trust and confidence through transparency, clarity and consistency
  • Adapt the audit approach to the changing client environment. Demonstrate a thorough understanding of complex accounting and auditing concepts and apply them to client situations.
  • Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel and assess clients' satisfaction.
  • Proactively maintain contact with the client throughout the year.
  • Direct daily fieldwork, inform Senior Managers and Partners of the engagement status, and manage staff performance.
  • Coach more junior audit team members on accounting and auditing matters.
  • Foster an efficient, innovative, and team-oriented work environment.
  • Contribute ideas/opinions to the audit teams and listen/respond to other team members’ views.

To qualify for the role you must have

  • A bachelor/master’s degree in either Accounting, Audit & Management Control, Corporate Finance, Business Administration or Economics
  • You are/about to be in possession of a certified public accountants’ diploma or other similar diploma (Swiss CPA, DEC, ACCA, etc.).
  • 5-7 years’ experience in external audit, an experience in a Big Four is a plus
  • Managerial experience in leading an audit team in an international environment, coaching audit staffs and seniors on technical accounting/auditing procedures, liaising with audit specialists
  • Experience in Swiss Regulatory audits is a strong asset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French is required – English and German are strong assets, any additional language is considered as a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to: communicate well; establish strong working relationships; maintain a positive outlook; work under pressure

The Senior / Manager in Extended Assurance: Regulatory Compliance is responsible for leading and managing compliance activities and providing assurance that the company is operating in line with regulatory requirements. This role involves overseeing compliance programs, managing risk assessments, and ensuring that internal policies and procedures are aligned with external regulatory expectations.

Your main tasks

  • Conduct regulatory audits (FINMA) for clients in the banking sector
  • Analyze and assess current regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with all relevant laws, policies, and standards.
  • Conduct compliance advisory activities on projects and investigations in the areas of Financial Crime Compliance (FCC)
  • Develop and implement corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues and provide guidance on how to avoid or deal with similar situations in the future.
  • Keep abreast of regulatory developments within or outside of the company as well as evolving best practices in compliance
  • Provide employee training on compliance-related topics, policies, or procedures.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree (e.g., JD, MBA) preferred.
