Skills and Attributes for Success:

• A bachelor’s degree in an accounting field
• Demonstrating strong experience in process improvement in financial planning and analysis, specifically in the budgeting/planning and reporting cycle.
• Demonstrating proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, and analysis, preferably in a consulting or advisory role.
• Proficient in utilizing process reengineering (BPR) principles to redesign and restructure budgeting cycles, achieving significant improvements in performance, efficiency, and effectiveness.
• Demonstrating proven experience in public financial management, preferably in the Saudi Market.
• Possessing strong knowledge of financial management principles, budgeting methodologies, and financial modeling techniques.
• Demonstrating experience in planning and managing timelines across projects.

• Experience with at least two comprehensive cost accounting / optimization / reduction / rationalization projects at large companies. This must include review of all type of expenses

• Experience with reviewing companies’ budgets and the budgeting process, including experience with zero-based budgeting, performance-based budgeting and other budgeting frameworks and concepts.
• Experience with developing and reviewing cost allocation frameworks such as ABC costing and other costing techniques and methods.

Financial Due Diligence – Analyst

You will collaborate with experienced due diligence professionals, gaining skills across sectors and opportunities for travel within MENA. As you progress, you'll handle complex transactions, lead teams, and build client relationships at EY.

Your key responsibilities

As an executive in the Transaction Diligence team, you will engage in due diligence for private equity and corporate buyers, analyzing financial and operational results of target companies. You will collaborate with your team, ensuring quality, sharing responsibilities, and keeping senior members updated on progress.

Skills and attributes for success

Individuals with strong analytical skills will flourish in this environment as you will regularly assist in researching technical accounting issues to evaluate implications on transaction valuation and structuring and prepare analyses of financial information to assess trends and fluctuations. Your key responsibilities

• In this role, you’ll work directly with a diverse range of clients across various industries to assess the impact of new accounting standards, proposed transactions, or other regulatory changes. Specifically, you will:
• Build and maintain strong networks internally and externally
