  • Reconhecer possíveis questões de auditoria ou relacionamentos incomuns a partir de uma análise básica das demonstrações financeiras e comunicá-las à equipe. Documentar de forma clara e precisa a execução de procedimentos de auditoria, conforme definido pelos objetivos do trabalho, históricos de trabalhos do cliente e metodologia de auditoria planejada;
  • Questionar procedimentos utilizados no passado e tentar aprimorar as técnicas de auditoria;
  • Demonstrar profissionalismo e competência no ambiente do cliente. Manter um enfoque concentrado no cliente, ser receptivo às suas solicitações e desenvolver/manter relacionamentos de trabalho produtivos com os funcionários do cliente. Manter-se informado sobre os atuais desenvolvimentos econômicos/corporativos pertinentes aos negócios do cliente.

Your key responsibilities

Lead the execution of and compliance with EY Procurement and Supply Chain Global Policy, incl.:

  • Pre-sourcing activities e.g. demand / pipeline management, make / buy decision making,
  • Sourcing activities incl. support and execution of end-to-end procurement transactions,
  • Post-sourcing activities e.g. ordering and invoicing support.
  • Develop and manage internal business and external supplier relationships across the EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) locations (Poland and Hungary).
  • Act as an advocate of Supply Chain Services (SCS) in GDS Poland and Hungary by support of implementation and operationalization of global procurement strategy, tools and transformation initiatives.
  • Assist the GDS functional leaders on all the GDS Poland & Hungary requirements by facilitating any functional discussions, implementation and change management of related activities across the two GDS locations.
  • Track and report through work with technical teams to align the requirements and dashboards, as well as preparation of reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Act as a trusted business advisor through provision of exceptional customer service and delivering seamless procurement end user experience and accomplish quantitative value through savings, cost avoidance and operational efficiencies.
  • Lead and support procurement solutioning to address functional and process challenges across GDS Poland & Hungary.
  • Work closely with SCS key Business Partners, including but not limited to Finance, Global Counsel’s Office and Risk Management, to minimize EY’s risk exposure and ensure full compliance with relevant policies.
  • Delivery of global and team-specific key functional targets (including SLA & KPI) e.g. Quantitative Value, Speed-to-Market and Customer Satisfaction.
  • Build a robust vendor ecosystem for in scope GDS locations.
  • The role has a seat at the GDS Procurement Leader’s team.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Business acumen and commercial skills to help leadership drive procurement and demand management strategies across a broad array of portfolios for the Global Procurement function.
  • Strong procurement expertise and commercial acumen to drive sourcing and demand management strategies across a broad array of category services.
  • Strong functional, technical, analytics and operations background with understanding of core procurement processes.
  • Be the functional expert with capabilities to drive key projects end to end.
  • Good knowledge in Microsoft office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in handling Operations and large multi geographical transformation projects in similar size organizations.

  • Experience in managing a large number of stakeholders.
  • Experience with a global, culturally diverse organization.
  • Experience working collaboratively, virtually and independently.
  • Language proficiency in English and Polish (fluent).

The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $103,600 to $189,900. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $124,300 to $215,800. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of asset management businesses, ensuring that our processes remain compliant with industry standards. You will work closely with various stakeholders, including operations, compliance, and IT teams, to gather requirements, develop functional specifications, and facilitate the successful implementation and/or transfer of system enhancements. Your expertise in middle-office platforms such as BlackRock Aladdin, Charles River, SS&C Advent Geneva, Bloomberg PORT or SimCorp Dimension will be crucial in optimizing our workflows and ensuring seamless integration across systems.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Expertise in Middle Office Platforms: Extensive experience with middle office systems such as BlackRock Aladdin, Charles River, SS&C Advent Geneva, or Bloomberg PORT, including configuration, reporting, and optimization, to ensure efficient risk management and performance measurement processes.
  • Asset Management Knowledge: Strong understanding of the asset management landscape and compliance standards in the industry, enabling the identification of risks and implementation of best practices, effective solutions, and proactive responses to stakeholder requirements.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to analyse complex data sets, identify trends, and develop actionable insights, along with a proactive approach to troubleshooting and resolving operational issues to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness in middle office operations.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in middle office operations within the asset management industry or within asset management audit, or related branches.
  • Proficiency in German and English (both written and spoken) is essential.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with stakeholders and extract requirements as per specifications.

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Experience with regulatory compliance and reporting requirements in the asset management sector.
  • A willingness to embrace change and adapt to evolving industry trends and technologies, along with a commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Previous experience as a business analyst will be a major asset.

Qual será o seu papel nesse propósito?

Como uma pessoa Auditora Externa você atuará com serviços de auditoria contábil de forma consistente, reunindo equipes multidisciplinares para abordar os problemas mais complexos de nossos clientes em diversos segmentos. Usando a metodologia comprovada de auditoria global e as mais recentes ferramentas e tecnologias de auditoria de alta qualidade, assumindo as seguintes responsabilidades:

  • Reconhecer possíveis questões de auditoria ou relacionamentos incomuns a partir de uma análise básica das demonstrações financeiras e comunicá-las à equipe. Documentar de forma clara e precisa a execução de procedimentos de auditoria, conforme definido pelos objetivos do trabalho, históricos de trabalhos do cliente e metodologia de auditoria planejada;
  • Questionar procedimentos utilizados no passado e tentar aprimorar as técnicas de auditoria;
  • Demonstrar profissionalismo e competência no ambiente do cliente. Manter um enfoque concentrado no cliente, ser receptivo às suas solicitações e desenvolver/manter relacionamentos de trabalho produtivos com os funcionários do cliente. Manter-se informado sobre os atuais desenvolvimentos econômicos/corporativos pertinentes aos negócios do cliente.

  • Graduação em contabilidade, administração ou economia;
  • Inglês intermediário;
  • Experiência profissional na área de auditoria externa;

Poderá ser um diferencial, caso você tenha os seguintes requisitos:

  • CRC Ativo;
  • Conhecimento de US e BR GAAP, IFRS, CVM e SEC;
