You will take a proactive approach in identifying tax planning opportunities to help the client optimise their tax position, and will be required to continually review legislation to analyse if new opportunities present themselves. An effective communicator, you will be required to maintain excellent client relationships and represent EY professionally. You will help to build relationships with clients and have an affinity for building networks both internal and externally. You will have the ability to effectively lead client meetings and workshops, and to work closely with the broader tax teams in order to ensure the client’s needs are met. Experience in both a management and technical environment will be required for this role; ideal candidates should have a strong working knowledge of international tax law and have an understanding of audit and accounting principles. Strong leadership and time management skills are a must, as is the ability to multitask while remaining calm under pressure.
