Job Title: Assistant Director – Trainer

Enterprise Technology provides reliable, secure and resilient technology services and solutions to support our 400,000 EY people. The Service Adoption Trainer is responsible for developing and implementing training programs to ensure the successful adoption of new services and technologies within the organization (primarily M365, Security, Mobile and AI such as M365 Copilot). This includes creating training materials, conducting training sessions, and measuring the effectiveness of training programs.

Your key responsibilities

  • Training Development: Design and develop comprehensive training programs tailored to the needs of different user groups within the organization.
  • Training Delivery: Conduct training sessions to ensure users are proficient in using new services and technologies. Due to the global nature of our business, expertise is required in delivering effective and engaging virtual trainings.
  • Content Creation: Develop training materials, including manuals, guides, videos (MSFT Clipchamp), and other resources to support training initiatives. Video is a particularly important format for our global audiences and site assets.
  • Direct and manage training support resource
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with various stakeholders, including product managers, change managers, and service line leaders, to understand training needs and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Performance Measurement: Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics. Report to key stakeholders and make necessary adjustments to improve training impact.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in training. Implement innovative training methods to enhance user engagement and learning.

This is a non-client facing role, with great flexibility to work from a home office with limited travel.

This role is guided by the BRM Service Adoption Content Lead.

Skills and attributes for success

The role requires an understanding of enterprise services and technologies to develop robust training programs tailored for various audiences (business and technical). The successful candidate must be comfortable training large groups of disparate users virtually in an enthusiastic and energetic manner. The role also requires tracking attendance from training programs and willingness to adjust based on user feedback.

To qualify for the role you must have

  • 5 years of experience developing and delivering training programs, preferably in a corporate or technology-driven environment.
  • Strong US English communication and presentation skills, proficiency in creating training materials, and the ability to engage and motivate learners
  • Video production experience (MSFT ClipChamp)
  • College degree in education, training, human resources, or a related discipline
  • Experience developing large scale training programs that includes behavioural changes as well as technology awareness
  • Awareness of requirements for select training programs to be eligible for continuing education credit such as CE or CPE
  • Previous project / program work in the areas of end-user technology adoption, mobile, security and/or Microsoft M365 products and services
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal for leaders and end users
  • Team player mindset, able to work collaboratively with and through others

  • Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and other training tools

  • The Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) & HSM Senior Engineer drives IT security and productivity pillars by enabling secure connectivity for technical assets and devices within EY’s global infrastructure through the creation and management of digital certificates.
  • The role drives complex design, development, and implementation activities aligned to several technologies including, but not limited to, Microsoft’s Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Online Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP) infrastructure, Hardware Security Modules (HSM), Key Factor Command, Key Management system (KMS), Venafi Trust Protection Platform, AppViewX, DigiCert/ 3rd party certificate management system, Digital life cycle management, Intune Certificate Connector and JAMF ADCS.

Your key responsibilities

  • Maintain existing deployed service components including upgrades, maintenance, and issue resolution to support business continuity.
  • Support the definition, design, and deployment of enterprise PKI & HSM/KMS to provide new or enhanced cryptographic services for the business.
  • Ensure PKI & HSM/KMS aligned to the firms Information Security policies, standards, and the industry best practices.
  • Manage the configuration of PKI & HSM/KMS, develop and execute test plans against PKI & HSM/KMS and/or components to ensure readiness for production deployment. Create and maintain system documentation.
  • Manage the successful technical delivery of Information Security projects and services for our customers by working directly with key business stakeholders, executives and project teams. Security engineers are the technical lead on initiatives and as such must drive the vision and alignment of the solution delivery.
  • Develop and improve PKI/PKE best practices.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Experience in MS Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) & Managed PKI (multiple tools)
  • Experience with Venafi, AppViewX and/or KeyFactor certificate management suite
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory Services
  • Strong proficiency with Hardware Security Module (HSM) technology (SafeNet/nCipher) & Key Management System (KMS) Azure KeyVault and/or AWS KMS
  • Knowledge of PowerShell Scripting & general understanding of REST API
  • Should be able to build a quality culture at GDS
