Qualifications:

  • 25+ years of experience in the Oil and Gas sector, with a strong background in consulting.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale projects and initiatives in Data/AI strategy and implementation.
  • Deep understanding of the Oil and Gas industry landscape, including regulatory requirements and industry challenges.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into actionable strategies.

Your key responsibilities

Job Title: Senior Leader – Oil and Gas Domain

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced leader with over 25 years of expertise in the Oil and Gas sector, particularly within the consulting industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives, developing AI use cases, and enhancing our solutions and assets to deliver exceptional value to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage client engagements in the Oil and Gas sector, focusing on AI/Gen AI strategy and implementation.
  • Develop and execute innovative AI/Gen AI use cases in AI, Gen AI and Agentic AI that align with client needs and industry trends.
  • Oversee the application of technologies in AI, Gen AI and Agentic AI to improve operational efficiency and business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and enhance solutions and assets tailored to client requirements.
  • Drive talent management initiatives, including recruitment, training, and development of high-performing teams.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry leaders.
  • Stay abreast of industry developments, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Lead the development and implementation of data/AI governance frameworks to ensure data quality, integrity, and security.
  • Advocate for the use of on-prem/cloud-based AI, Gen AI and Agentic AI solutions to enhance data processing capabilities, enabling real-time analytics and improved business outcomes.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of AI initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Encourage a culture of innovation by identifying opportunities for generative AI applications within the Oil and Gas sector, driving new service offerings and business models. Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to identify and prioritize data-driven opportunities that enhance client outcomes. Advocate for the integration of advanced analytics and machine learning techniques into client solutions to drive innovation.
  • Continuously monitor changes in industry standards, adapting and advising clients on strategies and practices to ensure ongoing compliance and risk management.

Qualifications:

  • 25+ years of experience in the Oil and Gas sector, with a strong background in consulting.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale projects and initiatives in Data/AI strategy and implementation.
  • Deep understanding of the Oil and Gas industry landscape, including regulatory requirements and industry challenges.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with a focus on talent development and team building.
  • Advanced degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Demonstrated thought leadership with Research publications and/or books, patents, if any, are preferred.
