The Quality Assurance Engineer, Specialist role provides advanced level systems quality assurance testing services and implements and maintains new techniques and tools to improve the quality and efficiency of software development, while reviewing requirements, conducting advanced testing, analyzing results, and participating in design reviews to ensure functionality, performance, and early issue resolution.
Your key responsibilities
Maintains and implements test automation strategy, test design, and creation and coding reviews to ensure quality.
Participates in the development, implementation, control, and distribution of quality assurance practices, standards, methodologies and metrics to ensure that all information system products and services meet company standards and end-user requirements.
Analyzes input and output of test data. Identifies discrepancies between requirements and expected results. Documents exceptions and makes recommendations for improvement.
Evaluates, develops, and maintains quality assurance testing standards. Recognizes and identifies areas where policies and procedures need to be changed or developed and makes updates.
Collaborates across IT teams to develop and execute manual End-to-End test cases and exploratory tests, following test case standards.
Trains and mentors less experienced staff and resolves elevated issues. Researches and recommends new technologies and trends.
Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Review software requirements to create detailed and comprehensive test scenarios that align with the product’s specifications and user needs.
Conduct regression testing, stress testing and other advanced testing methods to ensure the product’s stability and performance under different conditions.
Analyze test results to assess database impacts, identify bugs, errors and usability concerns, ensuring the software functions efficiently across platforms.
Participate in design reviews, providing insights on product requirements, design considerations and potential problems to help mitigate issues early in the development process.

To qualify for the role, you must have
Minimum 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, with expertise in automation and manual testing..
Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech) in relevant fields such as Computer Science, IT, or Software Engineering, or a Master’s degree/Diploma in Computer Science
Understanding the code Java, Angular, Node JS, Automation skills, Postman, Cucumber, Cypress, AWS, SQL queries, TDD/BDD, Knowledge of Github, Bitbucket, Bamboo, CI/CD, Splunk, Honeycomb, Scripting language ex: Python
Must have Agile, Confluence, JIRA, Monitoring and refining dashboards and must be comply with Continuous process improvement for process flows/workflows
Hands-on experience with API testing (Postman, RestAssured) and performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).
AWS cloud practioner certification preferred
Proficiency in using JIRA, HP ALM, or TestRail for bug tracking and working in Agile/Scrum environments with CI/CD integration.
Ideally, you’ll also have
