  • Act as innovation lead to organize and drive capital projects initiatives across governance, strategy, and execution.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage key interfaces between capital projects, strategy, and execution functions.
  • Support strategic initiatives related to capital project governance, risk management, contracting strategy, and digital innovation.
  • Develop and track key priorities for capital project planning, execution enablement, and transformation activities.
  • Provide executive-level support for leadership alignment, reporting, and decision-making processes.
  • Drive initiative execution by proactively identifying gaps, managing follow-ups, and ensuring timely delivery of outcomes.

Job Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in capital projects with hands-on involvement in project development.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to work in collaborative, cross-functional environments and manage multiple stakeholder interfaces.
  • Deep understanding of capital project best practices, including Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) and Project Definition Rating Index (PDRI).
  • Strong familiarity with the full project lifecycle, including Front-End Loading (FEL) stages 1-5.
  • Experience in project execution planning and development of execution strategies, including risk and contracting.
  • Hands-on involvement in project development activities such as concept selection, feasibility analysis, and early-phase planning.
  • Proven leadership and organizational skills with experience leading initiatives or teams.
  • High level of initiative and ability to independently drive priorities from concept to completion.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (civil or mechanical preferred) or closely related technical field.
  • Comfort with digital innovation and tools used to enable capital project execution and reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for evaluating project performance and identifying areas of improvement.
  • Adaptability and resilience in managing competing priorities and dynamic project environments.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Oil and gas industry experience within a corporate capital projects division or EPC environment.
  • Background in corporate strategy or capital project planning functions.
  • MBA or advanced engineering degree highly preferred.
  • Analytical and decision-support skills to interpret capital project data and support executive-level outcomes.
  • Proactive, self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and deliver under pressure.
