Expoint is proud to offer an opportunity in the tech industry for an Onsite ServiceDesk / Technology Support Specialist in Ey in Hungary, Budapest. This challenging yet fulfilling role requires both excellent technical and communication skills, as it will involve resolving customer issues related to the IT infrastructure, software applications and other technical tasks.
The successful candidate will be expected to manage escalated customer cases and provide high-quality customer service. They will be trusted to provide technical solutions that meet the customer’s needs, while also liaising with members of the support team, as well as other key stakeholders, to ensure technical issues are swiftly and properly addressed.
The Onsite ServiceDesk / Technology Support Specialist must possess comprehensive specialty skills. This includes troubleshooting, system monitoring, hardware and software installation, preventive maintenance and network connectivity, while also being familiar with the principles of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library). Furthermore, expertise in programming or scripting languages and their corresponding systems, as well as a sound knowledge of relevant operating systems, hardware and software is essential.
Other key qualities of a successful applicant include problem-solving, analytic and organisational skills. The role also requires an excellent command of both spoken and written English.
