As a Digital & Technology Risk Consultant / Senior Consultant, part of EY Consulting’s team in Greece, you will help clients navigate the complexities of the IT and emerging technologies landscape. By focusing on risk management aspects of information systems, technology transformation, and the wider space of digital and emerging technologies, you will support clients in safeguarding their operations and maintaining a competitive edge.

Your key responsibilities

  • Participate in projects to assess and manage risks associated with information systems, technology transformation and the adoption of emerging technologies.
  • Develop, document, and implement Digital & Technology Risk Management and control frameworks.
  • Manage data risks, maintaining appropriate data quality and governance standards.
  • Ensure compliance with digital, technology and data related regulatory requirements and international standards, optimizing compliance costs while maintaining robust controls.
  • Participate in digital, technology and business process reviews, including evaluation of the design and operation of application and general IT controls, reporting to management, stakeholders or supporting our clients’ digital & technology internal audit function.

Skills and attributes for success

  • University degree in information technology, data science, digital & emerging technologies, business, accounting, engineering, or other related fields. An MBA or relevant Master's degree is desirable.
  • Willingness to learn and continuously expand technical and business skills in the area Digital & Technology Risk Management.
  • Excellent business writing and verbal communication skills both in Greek and English.

Ideally, you will also have

  • Professional qualifications such as CISA, CISM, CRISK, CISSP, ISO 27000, ISO 20000, ISO 9000, ITIL, or other related to Digital & Technology Risk Management.

As a Finance Transformation Project Management Consultant, you will have an instrumental role in supporting the finance transformation journey of our clients by ensuring successful project execution of their strategic initiatives. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will provide expert guidance throughout partners update and optimize their finance operations.

Your key responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive project plans; identify and managing project dependencies and critical path tasks; define scope, schedule, budget, resource allocation and anticipate project risks
  • Participate in the project's delivery lifecycle, which includes: understanding project objectives and requirements, participating in design, analysis and testing and supporting successful project delivery
  • Monitor project progress against milestones using appropriate tools, implement effective mitigation strategies and contingency planning and resolve issues
  • Review proposed modifications to project plans and initiate the change management process, facilitating approval and implementation by stakeholders
  • Provide regular project progress report updates to clients and internal teams, highlighting strategic decisions to be made by client management and promptly addressing any concerns
  • Determine success metrics for project participants and setting clear expectations for all parties involved

  • Capacity to express ideas verbally and in writing, in a clear, concise, and professional manner (both in Greek and English)

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • PMP, Prince II, or other project management certification

Skills and attributes for success

  • University degree in information technology, data science, digital & emerging technologies, business, accounting, engineering, or other related fields. An MBA or relevant Master's degree is desirable.
  • Willingness to learn and continuously expand technical and business skills in the area Digital & Technology Risk Management.
  • Excellent business writing and verbal communication skills both in Greek and English.
  • Travelling availability and potential work on projects abroad.
  • Strong analytical skills and conceptual attitude.

Ideally, you will also have

  • Professional qualifications such as CISA, CISM, CRISK, CISSP, ISO 27000, ISO 20000, ISO 9000, ITIL, or other related to Digital & Technology Risk Management.
  • Knowledge of IT architecture and network design, operating systems, database management systems, statistics, modelling, and data analytics tools.
  • Understanding of business processes (e.g., Finance/ Accounting/ Financial Reporting, Procurement, Sales, etc.).
  • Knowledge of business and accounting information systems (Accounting, Billing, Payroll, ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, etc.), and/or Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) information systems.
