As a senior in our insurance tax practice, you will be responsible for tax compliance and advisory work for clients across the BBC and our global network. You will work on key client issues in Bermuda’s newly enacted corporate income tax as well as US federal, international and state and local taxation for general insurers, reinsurance, and captive insurance companies. You will also be responsible for monitoring the management and economics of engagements to continue to provide exceptional client service to our Insurance clients.

To qualify for the role you must have

• A Bachelor’s degree in an accounting, finance or a business discipline, and a minimum of 2 years of relevant tax experience; or an advanced degree in tax or law and a minimum of 2 years of relevant tax experience
• A CPA (or equivalent internationally recognized accounting designation), Enrolled Agent and/or LLM certification, or the ability to obtain either/or within one year of employment
• Experience preparing and reviewing US tax forms for insurance companies including Forms 1120 and 1120-PC
• Strong knowledge of ASC 740 and experience preparing income tax accounting provisions
• Experience providing income tax support for insurance company and c-corporation audits

SAP S/4 HANA – Tax Engine

Ever-increasing regulations require tax departments to gather, organize and analyse more data than ever before. Often the data necessary to satisfy these ever-increasing and complex regulations must be collected from a variety of systems and departments throughout an organization. Effectively and efficiently handling the variety and volume of data is often extremely challenging and time consuming for a company.

Qualification And Experience Required

  Relevant 4-7 years of experience in SAP S/4 Hana Projects. Implementation with Tax Engines. Overall experience not more than 10 years.
• Tax Engine Experience such as (Vertex O Series, Accelerator, OneSource, GlobalNext)
• Minimum 3 End to End Implementation in SAP S4 Hana and Tax engine.
• Experience in VAT, Sales and Use Tax, India GST.
• Sound knowledge in Taxation – Indirect Tax.
• Sound knowledge in OTC, PTP cycles
• Knowledge of Scrum and working experience will be an advantage.

Responsibilities of day-to-day activities of an SAP Indirect Tax consultant

What we look for

• a qualified chartered accountant (ACCA or CPA) holding approximately 6-7 years of working experience.

As an IGA Manager you will be responsible for leading the IGA Advise and Implementation projects and assisting the client on assessment, technical design and implementation of Identity and Access Management solution. The ideal person must be experienced in leading and managing IAM strategy, technology changes, and delivering projects, in cloud and on-premises environments.  Must be familiar with risk framework, compliance and auditing controls required to implement identity and access management solutions on cloud based and on-premises resources. The IGA manager should have experience with integrating solution on different IAM platforms such as SailPoint, Saviynt and Microsoft Entra ID Governance.

• Must have experience in prioritising application on-boarding needs, requirements gathering for compliance and provisioning

• Experience in managing projects including implementation and integration with authoritative sources (e.g., Workday, Banner, SuccessFactors, Fieldglass, etc.) as an identity source with provisioning into target systems (e.g., LDAP and Active Directory)
• Strong knowledge of IAM technologies, frameworks and business case development
• Experience with regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOX) and risk management
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders and to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience is setting up SoD and Recertification process
• Experience in managing key client stakeholders and expectations, as well as people management skills

To qualify for the role you must have

• Canadian Federal Security clearance is a plus
• Security Certification CISSP/CISA/ CISM or TOGAF/SABSA is a plus
