As a Steuerberatung (Tax Consultant) for EY in Germany, Frankfurt you will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, helping them to resolve complex financial issues while providing innovative and tailored solutions. You will be responsible for advising a wide range of client organizations on taxation matters, meaning that you will need to offer guidance on complex technical questions as well as business-focused consultancy in order to maximize the clients' results. You will also provide external advice and internal support in areas related to tax planning, transfer pricing, corporate finance, and international tax, as well as regional/local taxes specific to Germany. You must be able to collaborate with the team to develop a thorough understanding of the client's business so you can anticipate their needs and provide the most appropriate solutions. In addition to offering high-quality recommendations and advice to clients, you must also act as a trusted consultant, providing them with 360-degree support on tax matters. For this role, you should possess an advanced degree in Accounting and/or Taxation as well as several years of experience in Tax Advisory and/or Transfer Pricing. You must also possess a strong grasp of German tax law, and you need to be fluent in German and English.
