As a Manager or Senior Consultant, you’ll play a hands-on role in designing, configuring, and deploying onboarding solutions while guiding clients through transformation with confidence and empathy.

Client Engagement & Strategy

  • Partner with HR and Talent Acquisition leaders to shape onboarding strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Facilitate workshops to translate onboarding vision into SAP SuccessFactors capabilities.
  • Advise clients on onboarding best practices, compliance, and experience design.

Solution Design & Implementation

  • Lead the configuration and deployment of SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding, including integration with Recruiting and Employee Central.
  • Design onboarding workflows, forms, and experiences tailored to client needs.
  • Ensure seamless integration with third-party systems (e.g., background checks, provisioning tools).

Experience & Innovation

  • Apply design thinking to create onboarding journeys that are intuitive, engaging, and inclusive.
  • Introduce innovations such as mobile onboarding, preboarding portals, and personalized content.
  • Continuously improve onboarding processes through analytics and feedback.

Project Delivery

  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and adoption.
  • Support testing, training, and change enablement activities.

Team Collaboration

  • Mentor junior consultants and contribute to knowledge sharing within the SAP COI and HR tech team.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment.

  • Strong understanding of onboarding processes and employee lifecycle.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding and related modules.
  • Ability to manage client relationships and lead workshops.
  • Proficiency in system configuration, data migration, and integration.

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Business, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in HR technology consulting, with a focus on SAP SuccessFactors.
  • Proven experience implementing SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding.
  • SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding certification (preferred).
  • Experience working with global clients and distributed teams.

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Certifications in SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting and Employee Central.
  • Experience with onboarding analytics and experience platforms.
  • Exposure to compliance and regulatory onboarding requirements.

Within the team, your role will include the following additional responsibilities:

  • Ability to lead conversations with the client stakeholders. Strong communication skills as the profile requires interactions with CIO, CEO, CFO and other senior leadership

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Strong academic background with BE/B.tech and MBA from top Tier-1 B-schools
  • A background in Strategy Consulting (in top tier consulting firms), with 15+ years of relevant experience in large-scale, enterprise-wide transformations
  • 15+ years of specific industry / sector experience through completed client engagements related to business transformation. Should have experience in any one or two industry sectors such as Financial services, Retail, Healthcare/Pharma, Telecom, e-commerce, etc.
  • Demonstrated experience of driving business workshops as well as conducting deep-dive technology workshops to collaboratively develop transformation vision, strategy, roadmaps and blueprints
  • Experience with assessing maturity of IT operating models & organizations structure to determine optimization opportunities. Should understand IT - business alignment, IT strategy and planning, development of current and future state IT architecture, roadmaps, IT/Digital maturity assessment, etc.
  • Experience with large transformation related to customer experience, process re-engineering, digital, cloud, automation, AI/ML/advanced analytics, next-gen / emerging tech (IoT, blockchain, virtual twins etc).
  • Conducting research and analyses of operational effectiveness, processes, stakeholders, etc., creating end-to-end visibility into how the organization executes their operations today and identifying systemic issues impacting business performance
  • Should have experience in designing and managing an effective IT governance framework across the spectrum of IT service delivery
  • Should be able to analyze data and translate findings into meaningful insights, integrating relevant business knowledge
  • Should have knowledge about or exposure to areas such as IT Service Management and Governance, Agile methodologies, Data visualization, Cloud technologies, emerging technologies

The following are preferred, but not required:

  • Advanced business and/or technology degrees from tier-1 schools (MBA, Masters)
  • Experience in presenting directly to the C-Suite and explain complex concepts to anyone from an intern to a CFO, CHRO or CMO
  • Experience working with IT leadership (e.g., CIO, IT Director) and business leadership (e.g., CFO, COO, BU leader, etc.) to help shape and guide the strategic and improvement agenda.
  • Speaking at industry conferences, round tables, and other public forums
  • Authoring articles and white papers
  • Business / technology innovation experience with emerging tech solutions leveraging power of combinatorial technologies AI/ML, Data Automation, Blockchain, IoT, etc
  • Exposure across key technology domains is preferred (application, data, DevOps, infrastructure, cloud, network. security etc)
  • Demonstrated capability to drive sales and bring a network of client relationships to the firm
  • Relevant industry certification (e.g., TOGAF Biz Architect, Business Process Framework (eTOM Practitioner of TMForum), AWS Cloud Certified etc.).

Overall Skills and attributes for success

  • Understanding of the current IT environment and industry IT trends to identify the engagement and client service issues.
  • Ability to act as day-to-day client contact on the project engagement; run client status and other client meetings and deliver executive-level presentations that drive actions and decisions.
  • Proven delivery skills including the ability to scope/size a project; staff a team with the appropriate skill set; provide subject matter direction and guidance to a team; and manage the delivery of an engagement.

  • Proficiency in Python and tools like Pandas, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Spark, SQL.
  • Experience with CI/CD, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and MLFlow or similar tools.
  • Strong client-facing skills with the ability to articulate technical topics to business executives.

  • Experience in managing change and leading teams.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Familiarity with sector knowledge and commercial acumen.
  • Prior experience leading AI initiatives in the energy or oil & gas sector, including exploration, refining, or energy trading.

  • Working knowledge of ESG data, climate risk modeling, and regulatory trends in energy.
  • AI certifications (Microsoft, AWS, NVIDIA, Databricks, or equivalent).

  • We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $144,000 to $329,100. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $172,800 to $374,000. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
  • Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.

As a Manager or Senior Consultant, you’ll play a hands-on role in designing, configuring, and deploying onboarding solutions while guiding clients through transformation with confidence and empathy.

Client Engagement & Strategy

  • Partner with HR and Talent Acquisition leaders to shape onboarding strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Facilitate workshops to translate onboarding vision into SAP SuccessFactors capabilities.
  • Advise clients on onboarding best practices, compliance, and experience design.

Solution Design & Implementation

  • Lead the configuration and deployment of SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding, including integration with Recruiting and Employee Central.
  • Design onboarding workflows, forms, and experiences tailored to client needs.
  • Ensure seamless integration with third-party systems (e.g., background checks, provisioning tools).

Experience & Innovation

  • Apply design thinking to create onboarding journeys that are intuitive, engaging, and inclusive.
  • Introduce innovations such as mobile onboarding, preboarding portals, and personalized content.
  • Continuously improve onboarding processes through analytics and feedback.

Project Delivery

  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and adoption.
  • Support testing, training, and change enablement activities.

Team Collaboration

  • Mentor junior consultants and contribute to knowledge sharing within the SAP COI and HR tech team.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Strong understanding of onboarding processes and employee lifecycle.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding and related modules.
  • Ability to manage client relationships and lead workshops.
  • Proficiency in system configuration, data migration, and integration.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Business, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in HR technology consulting, with a focus on SAP SuccessFactors.
  • Proven experience implementing SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding.
  • SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding certification (preferred).
  • Experience working with global clients and distributed teams.

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Certifications in SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting and Employee Central.
  • Experience with onboarding analytics and experience platforms.
  • Exposure to compliance and regulatory onboarding requirements.
