Financial Services Risk - helps clients in the financial sector to identify, manage and monitor the risks in their business. It is done through a transformative and agile approach including process and procedures, risk, data modeling and analytics, reporting to stakeholders and third parties, business requirements (for software selection and IT implementation), analysis of assets and liabilities, and capital and liquidity management.


Technical Excellence


· Identify & internally escalate and potential red flags related to the engagement.

· Preparation of reports/deliverables/status updates/audit committee presentations.

· Demonstrate the ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects as directed by the managers.

· Handling data analytics - Access, ACL etc.
· Proactively identify and escalate counselees not being chargeable on engagements.
· Awareness of internal auditing standards issued by IIA and ICAI.


Skills and attributes

To qualify for the role you must have

· Chartered Accountant/Certified Internal Auditor/Masters in Business Administration/ Any Graduate

Experience

  • 1 to 3 years of experience into Internal Audit handling Manufacturing sector.
  • Experience in applying relevant technical knowledge in at least one of the following engagements: (a) assessing internal controls frameworks, including testing of design and operational effectiveness. (b) developing risk remediation strategies. (c) performing and interpreting gap analysis (d) experience in Enterprise Resource Management and related risk analysis, process analytics, and business intelligence.

Your key responsibilities


As an Assurance Manager, you will deliver quality assurance services to our clients and their stakeholders.

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting or related field
  • Post-graduate diploma or degree in Accounting preferred
  • Canadian CPA auditor professional accounting designation, or a reciprocal CPA auditor designation recognized with the CICA mandatory
  • Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience working as an auditor for a public accounting firm
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills in French and English
  • A dedication to teamwork and leadership
  • Integrity within a professional environment

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Payables and Disbursements Management: Expertise in managing accounts payable and optimising the Procure-to-Pay cycle. Experience in implementing efficient payment processes to maximise days payables outstanding (DPO).
  • Financial Analysis and Forecasting: Proficiency in analysing financial statements, understanding cash flows, and forecasting future financial positions
  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Proficiency in developing outside-in perspective and benchmarks on liquidity and working capital management opportunities through public data, sector themes and market signals
