Manager is primarily responsible for the planning of engagement(s), managing client accounts, gathering, validating and evaluating client information, generating Tax Compliance products and assuring quality. Your key responsibilities

  • Ability to review U.S. Federal (Form 1120), Form 1065, State and local income tax returns including estimates and extensions.
  • Ability to do detailed review of the supporting work papers related to Federal and State income tax returns.
  • Meet the client deliverables as per the scope of the work and deadlines set and maintain quality of all deliverables.
  • Adheres to practice protocols and other internal processes consistently
  • Ability to sign the federal and state tax returns as paid preparer based on engagement requirements.
  • Managing client engagements, including staffing and engagement economics
  • Focus on establishing relationships with the client personnel (internal / external) at the appropriate level while consistently delivering exceptional client service.
  • Strong proficiency and high level of comfort working with new and emerging technologies

We are looking for people with a mix of Business, Accounting and Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop data mapping/data lineage documents and design the ETL process to extract data. Experience with any ETL tools like Alteryx and Monarch
  • Demonstrated ability to display complex quantitative data in a simple, intuitive format, and to present findings in a clear and concise manner. Experience with visualization tools preferred, including Spotfire, PowerBI and/or Tableau
  • Sound working knowledge of MS SQL Server/ SQL Server Integration Services and/or other database and analytical tools
  • Sound working knowledge of MS Excel and all MS Office Suite products
  • Experience with transactional data (loans, securities, deposits etc.), general ledger reconciliation a plus.
  • Project management experience – managing multiple projects with conflicting demands, timeframes and stakeholders

The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $37,200 to $76,000. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $44,600 to $86,400. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
