• Monitor the engagement team's progress against the plan and alter it when needed. Generate new business opportunities.
• Understand EY and it's service lines and actively assess/present ways to apply knowledge and services.

What we look for

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting or related field
• Post-graduate diploma or degree in Accounting preferred
• Canadian CPA/CA designation or reciprocal CPA/CA designation mandatory
• Minimum 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in an accounting firm
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and auditing standards, including GAAP and PCAOB regulations

Managers in our U.S. Private tax practice are responsible for recommending and implementing tax strategies that align with the client's objectives, corresponding with tax authorities on client issues, researching compliance & planning issues, and reviewing personal, corporate and trust tax returns.
