Be a Strategic Data Partner

• Partner with Product, Marketing, and R&D leaders to understand challenges and propose solutions
• Present insights confidently to all levels-analysts to executives
• Translate business problems into technical solutions, understanding the "why" behind requests
• Proactively identify data opportunities before being asked

Build BI Solutions

• Design data marts (dbt + Databricks) and Tableau dashboards that teams rely on daily
• Own full lifecycle: requirements → delivery → presentation
• Ensure solutions are fast, reliable, and trusted

Elevate Team Standards

• Set quality bar through excellent code, documentation, and communication
• Mentor developers on SQL, data modeling, and dashboard design
• Drive data governance and QA processes

Solve Technical Challenges

• Turn high-volume, messy data into a reliable analytics infrastructure
• Optimize performance and scalability
• Lead technical initiatives (migrations, architecture improvements)

Technical Foundation (Must-Haves)

• 4+ years as a BI Developer in SaaS/eCommerce
• SQL mastery and strong data modeling skills
• Hands-on with: dbt, Databricks, Tableau, Git
• Data warehouse architecture and quality frameworks

• Lead global accounting and tax operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, tax planning, and transfer pricing across multiple jurisdictions.
• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of controllers, tax professionals, and payment specialists fostering a high-performance global finance team.
• Oversee internal controls, risk management, financial governance, and continuous process improvements to support scalability and operational excellence.
• Act as primary liaison with external auditors, tax authorities, and global advisory partners, managing all audits and regulatory interactions.
• Partner with the CFO and cross-functional leadership on financial policies, systems implementation, and global compliance strategy.

• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in accounting, tax, and financial operations within global organizations; experience in SaaS or technology companies
• Initial training and work experience at a Big 4 accounting firm — mandatory.
• Proven experience managing global, multi-entity, and multi-currency financial operations.
• Experience in global tax compliance, transfer pricing, and international tax structuring.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing high-performing finance teams and external financial partners.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of driving process improvements.
• Deep understanding of Information Systems and Data processes
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and financial system implementations.
• CPA certification — required.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

• Foster collaboration across teams by uniting data engineers, analysts, and business leaders under a cohesive operational model.
• Upskill and empower talent by introducing training programs that embed data expertise within every business unit.

Leadership Skills:

• Experience as a Software Group Manager / R&D Director / Director of BI & Analytics.
• 7+ years of broad management experience: individuals, teams, and project management.

Technical Expertise:

• 10+ years of extensive experience in Data Analytics and Business Intelligence.
• Expertise in leading cross-organizational processes to improve business results and best practices.
• Extensive experience in structuring and solving problems with analytical skills (e.g., investigation, modeling, mapping, and gap analysis) and techniques (e.g., trend analysis, forecasting, and experimental design).
• Experience with at least one of the following visualization tools: Tableau, QlikView, Qlik Sense, Power BI.
• Experience in building reliable and scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Experience working with data tools such as Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks, Airflow, DBT, MySQL, and Google Analytics.
• Experience in building tools and processes to enable teams to rapidly and reliably develop, deploy, and run data solutions.
• Experience working with multiple web analytics platforms like Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Facebook Ads—an advantage.
• Working with cloud-related data services (AWS / Azure / GCP / Databricks) — an advantage.
