Description:

What You Will Be Doing

  • Sales Support for Quote creation and approvals in CPQ
  • Order Form review and signatory
  • Opportunity review for completeness including paperwork (Order form, MSA’s, PO’s etc.) ensuring all required paperwork is in and clean to be considered a valid order to be booked
  • Ensuring compliance with the Booking policy and Business Integrity guidelines
  • Sales order generation
  • License provisioning for self-managed products
  • Management of all queries or questions from Sales via Case Queue
  • Debook of Deals for various reasons
  • Collaboration with Billing and Cloud AR team on end to end transaction processing
  • Participation in cross functional programs and projects

What You Bring

  • Attention to detail is a critical skill required for this role
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple contending requests coming via email, Slack, case queue, etc.
  • Ability to advise sales on elements preventing deal booking and providing mentorship on what can be done to remediate
  • Understanding of Subscription / SAAS Software business
  • Ability to guide on treatment of complex booking scenarios
  • Experience of SFDC / CPQ or similar CRM is crucial
  • Reporting, dashboarding and analytical skills are very useful (but can be developed on the job)
  • Collaboration for overall success of team, versus individual achievement
  • Ability to communicate in English and Spanish, both verbally and in writing (any Portuguese language skills a plus)
  • The ability to work extended hours to cover Month-end, Quarter-End volumes

  • Drive the adoption of Elastic's AI-powered search solutions within new Enterprise accounts.
  • Position yourself as a trusted advisor, demonstrating how customers can leverage the full power of Elastic's search analytics to transform their data into actionable insights.
  • Champion our Open Source offerings, articulating the value and capabilities of our advanced commercial features.
  • Identify and develop new use cases, showcasing how Elastic's solutions enable users to work more efficiently and intelligently.
  • Collaborate closely with various Elastic business functions to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
  • Navigate complex enterprise sales cycles, from prospecting to closing deals.
  • Develop a comprehensive business plan leveraging community, customer, and partner ecosystems to drive significant growth within your territory.

What You Bring

  • A proven track record in enterprise SaaS subscription sales, evidenced by quota overachievement and strong customer references.
  • Experience selling SaaS solutions within the technical infrastructure/data domain.
  • Strong hunting abilities with a proven record of landing new logos and expanding territories.
  • Adept at building relationships and establishing credibility with both developers and executives.
  • Consistent and accurate sales forecasting skills using SFDC.
  • Enthusiasm for the Open Source model and a deep appreciation for the community relying on our solutions.
  • Prior experience selling into the Enterprise accounts included in this territory.

Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary plus a variable component, that together comprise the On-Target Earnings (OTE). On-Target Earnings (OTE) are based on a 50/50 pay mix (base salary / target variable).

The typical starting OTE range for new hires in this role is listed below. This range represents the lowest to highest OTE we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future.

An employee's position within the OTE range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.

The typical starting salary range for this role is:

$113,300—$179,200 USD

The typical starting Target Variable range for this role is:

$113,200—$179,100 USD

The typical starting On-Target Earnings (OTE) range for this role is:

$226,500—$358,300 USD
