Key Responsibilities:
Take end-to-end ownership of the budget lifecycle, including vendor management, quarterly forecasts, identification of savings, and management of risks.
Collaborate with Legal, Infosec, Privacy, and Third-Party Risk Management teams to finalize agreements such as Purchase Agreements, License Agreements, Statements of Work (SOWs), and renewals.
Assess software compliance and risk exposure during onboarding and periodically thereafter.
Professionally address and resolve vendor onboarding issues, payment discrepancies, and disputes.
Lead business contract discussions and vendor negotiations.
Conduct cost-benefit analyses, evaluate potential projects, and prioritize budget spending to optimize return on investment (ROI).
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in business, technology, finance, or related fields.
5 years of experience in vendor management, strategic sourcing, business operations, program management, or related roles.
Proven experience managing contracts in software asset management or technology sourcing.
Experience managing budgets and driving cost-reduction initiatives.
Strong presentation and communication skills, particularly with senior leadership.
Preferred Qualifications:
5+ years of experience managing cross-functional projects involving technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience in technology or related industries.
Proven ability to thrive in ambiguous and fast-paced environments.
Excellent investigative and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with Source-to-Pay (S2P), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), ITSM tools, and project management platforms (ServiceNow, Monday.com, Ariba, etc.).
Critical thinking and continuous improvement mindset, consistently optimizing processes and systems.
Eligibility:
Applicants must qualify for the Department of Defense SkillBridge program.
Must have availability for a SkillBridge internship duration of 120–180 days.
The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:
