About the Quality Assurance and Automation Architect:
    • Define, design, and implement the QA and test automation strategy for our portfolio of products.
    • Collaborate closely with QA Leads and Managers on projects and recommend tools and techniques to optimize testing.
    • Research and suggest test methodologies and tools
    • Develop, maintain, and optimize scalable and reusable automation frameworks for mobile, web, and API testing.
    • Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and DevOps teams to integrate quality throughout the entire software development lifecycle, from ideation to deployment.
    • Act as a subject matter expert on software quality, providing technical guidance and mentorship to other engineers.
    • Drive the adoption of best practices in software quality, including continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) and shift-left testing.
    • Establish and report on key quality metrics (e.g., test coverage, defect leakage, performance benchmarks) to inform technical decisions and improve product quality.
    • Troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues and provide root cause analysis.
About you as the Quality Assurance and Automation Architect:
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
    • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on designing and building automation frameworks.
    • Deep expertise in test automation for various platforms and technologies, including:
    • Mobile Platforms: Experience with native mobile application automation using tools and frameworks like Appium, Espresso, and XCUITest. Strong proficiency in Java, Kotlin, and/or Swift/Objective-C is essential. Experience with firmware or on-device software testing is a significant plus.
    • Web & API Platforms: Experience with large-scale web and API automation using frameworks like Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium. Strong proficiency in languages such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Java. Experience with data-intensive systems, including programmatic advertising platforms, is highly desirable.
    • Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
    • Strong understanding of microservices architecture, cloud environments (e.g., AWS, GCP), and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
    • Experience with performance, load, and security testing.
    • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
    • AI Core Concepts: Understanding the fundamentals of AI/ML and how they apply to the testing process.
    • AI Tooling: Familiarity with AI-powered development and testing tools (Gemini, MCP Servers, )
    • AI Strategic Use: Knowing how to leverage AI for tasks like generating tests and optimizing test suites.

The Junior Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for the analysis, creation and execution of functional and non functional testing in all phases of testing. This position is also responsible for creation of test cases and involved in the analysis and support in the execution of feature testing. Involved in the review of requirement changes. Other responsibilities are coordination of activities within the test phase.
About the role of the Jr. QA Engineer:
    • Execute predefined manual test cases with guidance
    • Develop test cases for new features
    • Analyzes and reports test activities and results
    • Identifies and reports issues and risks(defects)
    • Involved in defining test conditions for given requirements
    • Participate in designing test cases and creating test scripts and supporting data, working to the specifications provided
    • Assist in writing test scripts or test automation
    • Report and analyze any automation failures, and learn to maintain and stabilize basic automation tests
    • Participation in team meetings and discussions, communicating issues to the team, and seeking feedback on test findings
    • Engaging with the developers to build a partnership to release a quality product
    • Starting to take ownership of assigned tasks, seeking feedback, and showing initiative in learning tools and processes
About you as the Junior Quality Assurance Engineer:
    • 1 year of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience
    • Java, Kotlin, or Typescript previous experience with automation or relevant coding history
    • Familiar with basic understanding of software testing principles and lifecycles
    • Understands basic debugging techniques, able to find data using basic SQL queries
    • Collaborative personality, good communicator, desire to learn and adapt new technologies and tools
    • Mobile background preferred

Qualifications of the Quality Assurance Automation Engineer:
    • 3 years of progressive related testing experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience.
    • Experience in Appium for mobile app automation.
    • Knowledge of Android using Java and/or Kotlin.
    • Knowledge of a bug management system (i.e. JIRA).
    • Strong and creative testing aptitude.
    • Excellent communication and prioritization skills.
    • Familiar with consuming web services and using RESTful APIs.
    • Working Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML or JSON in a testing or development capacity.
