As a Data Science Senior Advisor, you will be responsible for contributing to business strategy and influence decision making based on information gained from deep dive analysis. You will produce actionable and compelling recommendations by interpreting insights from complex data sets. You will design processes to consolidate and examine unstructured data to generate actionable insights. You will also partner with business leaders, engineers and industry experts to construct predictive models, algorithms and probability engines.
•Collaborate with internal and external teams to understand customer requirements
•Develop and apply a broad range of techniques and theories from statistics, machine learning, and business intelligence to deliver actionable business insights
•Develop and drive testing of algorithms efficacy for differing analytical use-cases
•Performs end-to-end steps involved in model development while establishing subject-matter expertise
•Work with the academic and business community to develop new techniques and to contribute to research in the area of large databases• 8 to 12 years of related experience
• Solid machine learning and statistical skills
• Solid Programming skills in Python (or any other language)
• Good understanding of business environment and industry trends
• Good communication and problem-solving skills and being customer focused
• Domian knowledge and understanding of Pricing industry
• Knowledge of industry LLMs, Agentic AI would be a plus
• Skilled at data storytelling—turning analytical findings into business insights and presenting them effectively to diverse audiences

•Contribute to the design and architecture of high-quality, complex systems and software/storage environments
•Prepare, review and evaluate software/storage specifications for products and systems
•Contribute to the development and implementation of test strategies for complex software products and systems/for storage products and systemsEssential Requirements

• Extensive experience in software development, with a strong emphasis on hardware integration and low-level driver programming. Proficient in C/C++, with deep expertise in systems programming and working close to the hardware.
• Skilled in Python and Perl for automation and testing workflows, with hands-on experience using Docker for containerized deployment and modern DevOps practices.
• Proven track record of delivering robust, high-performance, and reliable software solutions across diverse platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and debug scalable and complex software systems, based on both written and verbal specifications.
• Quick to adapt and learn new tools, programming languages, and operating systems through structured training and hands-on experience.

Desirable Requirements

• Experience with Linux and open-source technologies
• Experience with Jira and Agile development methodologies

You will:

• Design and develop various Data-domain features. Participate in design collaboration, code reviews, exercising development tools and processes
• Take part in the full software development life cycle including development, testing, continuous delivery and support.
• Refine designs based on feedback, testing, and evolving requirements.
• Work with cross-functional teams, partners, and customers. Ensure seamless integration of components and technologies. Be an active member of an agile team.

Essential Requirements

• 8+ years of experience with design, implement and develop file system/security software using C/C++, python, go language. Strong Analytical, Debugging and troubleshooting skills using tools like GDB.
• Good understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms
• Proficiency and hands-on coding experience in C/C++. In-depth experience in Linux user-space development, multithreading and storage solutions.
• Practical expertise in troubleshooting, debugging, performance optimization, and refactoring of complex systems.
• Extensive knowledge of Object-oriented design, data structures and algorithms. Hands-on experience with Python and Bash scripting, CI/CD, automation. Agile-based development experience.Knowledge in Kubernetes, Hypervisors, and Containers

Desirable Requirements:

• Experience in data security, working knowledge with crypto libraries, encryption methods.Hands-on experience with gdb micros, core file analysis, and makefiles, REST API.
• Experience in storage domain background, file system internals, and sharing technologies (algorithms, protocols, file systems).Experience of working in Scale out filesystems is a plus
