About the Role:

As a Hardware QA Engineer at Cognyte, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our hardware products.

You will be responsible for performing PCBA and system-level testing, following established production procedures and using automated tools.

Your work will directly support the daily production plan and help maintain high standards across our hardware line.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform PCBA and system-level testing using automation tools, covering digital electronics, and RF-related aspects.
• Follow production procedures and quality standards
• Take part in identifying and reporting hardware issues

Requirements:

• BSc in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Strong hands-on skills in both electrical and mechanical assembly
• Good English, both verbal and written

• Plan, design, and execute thorough test cases
• Conduct PHY layer lab tests, including HW setup and configuration
• Operate signal generators, oscilloscopes, and analyzers
• Set up and maintain lab environments and equipment
• Work closely with QA and R&D to ensure high product quality

For that mission you’ll need:

• B.Sc. in software / computer / electronics engineering
• Understanding basic wireless communications concepts (bandwidth, frequency, etc.)
• Basic scripting skills (e.g., Python, bash) for automation or data analysis
• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills

• Excellent communication & collaboration skills

Nice to have

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing presentations and demos: Support the Pre-Sales team in creating tailored demos, presentations, and product demonstrations for prospective clients.
• Support for Sales/Presales Process: RFP/RFQ submission documentation process and control.
• Technical Support for Proposals: Help develop and customize technical proposals, including gathering requirements and crafting solutions.
