As a Cognyter you will:

  • Take part in the annual and quarterly global consolidation process for a US listed company, including day to day management of consolidated books and journals in Oracle and reviewing international reporting packs.
  • Manage relationships with regional controllers and coordinate the flow of information between accounting, tax, business finance, and other areas of the business to ensure reporting deadlines are met.
  • Take part in preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements and disclosures for SEC reporting purposes, including communication with auditors.
  • Be a technical accounting expert on various corporate activities as well as coordinate with external auditors to ensure their concurrence with our accounting and reporting approaches.
  • Take part in Revenue Recognition processes.
  • Contribute towards additional corporate accounting tasks (e.g., Business Combinations, Share-Based Compensation, Goodwill & Intangibles)

For that mission, you’ll need:

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar position or in the professional services sector.
  • Partially qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA) with demonstrable technical financial accounting skills.
  • Knowledge of accounting standards IFRS (US GAAP knowledge will be an advantage)
  • Experience from one of the Big 4 accounting firms will be considered an advantage.
  • Experience in working with ERP systems (Oracle would be considered an advantage).
  • Fluent English- speaking, reading, and writing are a must.

Also important:

  • Ability to handle multiple projects, work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and operate in a highly dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Good interpersonal skills, fast learner, independent worker
  • An endlessly curious mind

  • Responsible for the planning, implementation, management, and running of all the finance activities of the company, including providing top-line business planning, tax, budgeting, forecasting and detailed cash flow analysis.
  • Perform any other ad-hoc related duties as per management's request
  • Assist Management with Global projects
  • Assure adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Policies

For that mission you’ll need:

  • 3+ years of experience in in a similar position or in the professional services sector.
  • Partly Qualified or Qualified Accountant (eg, ACA, ACCA) will be considered an advantage.
  • Experience from one of the Big 4 accounting firms, with demonstrable technical, financial accounting, and reporting skills, will be considered an advantage.
  • Experience with High-Tech companies will be considered an advantage
  • Knowledge of accounting standards IFRS (US GAAP knowledge will be an advantage)
