  • Continuously learns new and existing products through sales aids (features, benefits, fees, etc.) demonstrating positive, can-do attitude and customer first culture.
  • Provide exceptional service delivery to our internal and external customers to resolve account service issues and respond to customer inquiries promptly and effectively.
  • Is knowledgeable about the client’s accounts and business with the bank and uses sound judgment with customers and transactions
  • Energetically greet and interact with clients on the bank floor to proactively identify and address client sales and service needs; appropriately convert service requests into sales or referrals

  • Consult with customers about their financial situation, financial and personal objectives and lending needs for the purpose of helping them achieve their home ownership goals.
  • Collect and analyze information about the customer's financial situation, financial and personal goals, tolerance for risk and change, plans for the future, income, assets, debts, cash flow, and credit history.
  • Analyze financial information for customers to make an initial assessment regarding whether the customer and the property may qualify for a particular lending solution.
  • Make recommendations to customers about which lending solutions would best meet the customers' financial and personal objectives
  • Advise customers about the consequences, risks, and benefits of alternative lending solutions.
  • Promote Citi's brand, and promote Citi as the provider for lending and other financial solutions. This includes promoting Citi and its financial services to real estate agencies, builders, other referral sources, and customers.
  • Visit customers outside of Citi's offices, with such visits to vary based on clientele, geography, market conditions, and other factors.
  • Work as a team with all internal partners to support and grow our customers.

The Public Sector Lockbox business is a multi-shift, 363 days-per-year operational unit which provides a variety of services to government clients to assist them in managing their receivables and sensitive documents. The core functions of this business include Mailroom, Batching, Scanning, Dispatch and Data Entry. Most functions occur in a POD or small team environment. A successful candidate must be able to work weekends/holidays, additional hours as required and successfully complete the government-required background check. The duties and responsibilities described are not a comprehensive list and additional tasks may be assigned as necessitated by business demands.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate new hire and cross functional education as needed utilizing effective training methods and Citi-approved tools and materials.
  • Accountable for increasing the overall performance of the new hire contractors to meet established new hire standards for productivity and quality.
  • Conduct quality control reviews and provide immediate feedback.
  • Actively participate in all training and development initiatives.
