Responsibilities:
Manage the AML Risk of a portfolio of Foreign Correspondent Banks including reviewing their AML compliance programs and transactions.
Represent the second line of defense in risk forums associated with FCBs.
Lead AML discussions with compliance counterparts at FCB clients.
Maintain and develop FCB metrics that will better inform decision making.
Provide AML advisory services for the business as well as other compliance stakeholders.
Qualifications:
6+ years of relevant experience in the Compliance field
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to tailor messaging for diverse audiences.
Proven ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external clients.
Strong understanding of FCB and payment processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience engaging and influencing very senior stakeholders.

What you’ll do
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned vendors, building strong, collaborative relationships
Conduct regular performance reviews, addressing issues and monitoring KPIs/SLAs
Facilitate communication between stakeholders and vendors for alignment and transparency
Manage vendor contracts, ensuring favourable terms and maintaining a contract repository
Monitor contract expirations and collaborate with Sourcing/Legal/Business/Risk teams for extensions and amendments
Review and approve vendor invoices for accuracy, compliance, and adherence to pricing agreements; resolve discrepancies
Monitor vendor spending against the allocated budget, proactively addressing variances and preparing budget reports
Conduct cost analyses to identify opportunities for optimization, savings, and efficiency
Ensure compliance with internal policies/regulations; participate in audits and provide documentation
Create Purchase Orders and oversee the timely and accurate processing of vendor payments
Assess risks, ensure compliance with laws/regulations, and report on exposures
Ensure vendor compliance with policies and track/report risk exposures
Develop and maintain performance dashboards, analyse data for trends, and create reports for management review.
Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements through data analysis
Identify and implement process enhancements for vendor management, document procedures, and stay updated on industry best practices
Collaborate with stakeholders, communicate updates, and facilitate meetings.
What we’ll need from you
Relevant experience in a fast-paced, large global financial services firm (Operations/Finance/Accounting preferred).
Experience with Resources @ Citi, P2P, and Fieldglass is advantageous.
Demonstrable experience in third-party management is preferred.

KYC Risk Evaluation Management (REM) is an AML function that is responsible for conducting a risk evaluation of new and existing clients with certain high-risk attributes. Responsibilities:
Develops, implements, and executes monitoring procedures addressing key compliance risks impacting middle and back office Operations within Citi's Markets business, in accordance with the Compliance Independent Assessment (CIA) plan. Reports any findings and documents them accordingly.
Utilizes innovative compliance monitoring solutions including Data Analytics to enhance the value and efficiency of compliance-related activities to address emerging risks.
Develops effective and collaborative relationships with stakeholders within and outside the CIA function and outside stakeholders, such as business and technology process owners, and promotes education and best practices across ICRM and the business.

Qualifications:
5+ years of relevant work experience

Experience with auditing principles including audit planning, risk assessments, development of risks and controls matrices, processes and controls design assessments, controls operating effectiveness testing, transactional testing, and reporting activities.
Experience in planning, executing, and reporting on compliance testing reviews and regulatory issue validation activities.
Extensive global compliance and audit related experience, and strong knowledge of business processes.
Exhibit project management, interpersonal, sound decision making, and intuitive thinking skills.
Understanding of relevant rules, laws, regulations, and specific regulatory requirements. Strong interpersonal skills for building strong relationships with stakeholders and engaging teams.
Excellent oral communication and writing skills in interacting with non-executives and executive management and across a number of multiple business lines and control functions.
Applies knowledge of key regulations to influence monitoring procedure scope.
Develops effective line management relationships to ensure strong understanding of the business.
