As a Credit Initiation Specialist in Citi Group in Mexico, you will own and drive the credit initiation process for the financial services company to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies. You will serve as a key point of contact for customer inquiries and provide support for customer accounts. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service, researching customer inquiries, resolving disputes, and maintaining high levels of customer service. You will be responsible for preparation, review, and validation of customer credit applications, loan requests, and other related documents. This will involve a thorough review of financial documentation and due diligence of customers. You will be responsible for processing credit petitions and requests as well as authorizing and issuing credit lines to customers. This role may also involve reviewing customer payment history and creditworthiness. You will ensure that all credit and financial information is maintained accurately in the system and that all security protocols are applied properly. You will be expected to provide accurate and timely data and reports about the customer base or credit portfolio. You will be involved in setting up direct deposit information, loan requests, and other accounts as required. You will have strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with customers, underwriters, and other internal departments. Knowledge of financial services products, lending regulations, and credit risk management is an important requirement for this role. You should also be familiar with financial industry data and assessment technology. You should provide a strong commitment to customer service excellence and a passion for helping customers succeed. With a desire to serve customers and meet company goals, you should be prepared to learn new processes and procedures quickly and effectively.
