A successful Financial Reporting Specialist in Citi must have the ability to coordinate with several other departments including internal/external auditors, compliance officers, corporate finance, IT and data management teams. Duties and responsibilities include developing and documenting financial reporting processes, analyzing audit issues and recommendations and developing solutions, ensuring compliance with statutory and business regulations, developing reports and data models and preparing financial analysis. A successful candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or similar field, with a Master’s Degree preferred. You must also have extensive knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards, GAAP, tax regulations, audit/control reporting requirements. Also, you must be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, and other reporting databases.
