Junior Cyber Security Engineer

In this role you will be responsible to research, develop and certify security strategies, products, architectures and best practices. As Junior Cyber Security Engineer you will:

  • Assist in the deployment and maintenance of Cisco ISE wired and wireless solutions, contributing to network access control and identity management initiatives.
  • Support the implementation of 802.1X authentication protocols to ensure secure network access.
  • Learn and contribute to the configuration and troubleshooting of TACACS and RADIUS protocols for authentication, authorization, and accounting processes.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to integrate security solutions into the overall network architecture.
  • Contribute to security assessments and vulnerability analyses, under guidance, and participate in the implementation of recommended remediation strategies.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand and support security requirements.

Ideal background:

  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience.

The overall objective of this role is to ensure the execution of Information Security directives and activities in alignment with Citi's data security policy.


What you will do:

  • Technical experience in security administration supporting a large user environment.

  • Solid understanding of industry standard security practices desirable.

  • Risk Management, Cybersecurity, and/or Project Management certifications are a plus (e.g. CRISC, CISA, CISM, CISSP, PMP)
