Description:

Institutional Credit Management (ICM) was established within Citigroup with the objective to provide integrated “end-to-end” credit underwriting, identification, measurement, management and monitoring for wholesale credit businesses across the enterprise.

The Senior Vice President, Governance & Change Management Partner will lead the design, management, and execution of the change management strategy across a portfolio of key frameworks across. This role will ensure changes are successfully delivered, adopted, and sustained byteams. Partnering closely with product, communications, and business leaders, the roleholder will drive end-to-end change activities whilerobust governance& discipline. In addition, the roleholder willbe responsible forthe centralized management, governance, and oversight of theCredit Products Strategy & Operations (CPSO)Book of Work (BoW)- ensuringeffective intake, prioritization, execution, and communication of all.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve frameworks for the execution of change management across the ICM function and beyond.

  • Lead change management planning and execution for initiatives, including stakeholder analysis, impact assessments, readiness planning, and adoption measurement.

  • Partner with product management teams to translate business and operational changes into detailed requirements that enable successful solution delivery.

  • Work closely with training and communications teams to ensure clear,timely, and targeted messaging and enablement for impacted audiences.

  • Build andmaintainstrong change networks to support adoption and sustainability of changes across the organization

  • Manage the central CPSO BoW, ensuring alignment of change initiatives with strategicobjectivesand resourcecapacity.

  • Oversee the intake, prioritization, and assignment of new projects, ensuringappropriate governanceand transparency.

  • Prepare executive-level updates and reports that communicate progress, risks, and opportunities clearly and effectively.

  • Organize andfacilitatekey governance meetings, providing clear reporting on change progress, risks, and decisionsrequired.

  • Identify, track, and mitigate risks to successful change adoption, escalating critical issues where necessary.

  • Promote a culture of change agility, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement in change practices.

Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of experience in change management, program delivery, governance, or related roles, ideally within financial services.

  • Deepexpertisein the concept of change management for key business framework and artefacts.

  • Strong experience in stakeholder engagement, communications planning, and organizational readiness management.

  • Familiarity with governance frameworks and project portfolio management.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex change initiatives across multiple stakeholder groups.

  • Proven success partnering with product management, communications, and training teams to drive full change adoption.

  • Proficient knowledge of Wholesale Credit Risk would beadvantageous.

  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) skills.

  • Advancedknowledge ofapplications such as SharePoint, Confluence, and JIRA.

As a Product Manager, you will be a part of a new organization named Institutional Credit Management (ICM), which was recently formed to transform the way Citi manages the extension of wholesale credit to institutional clients. ICM is a global group focused on re-imaging credit control process, policies, and technology to manage the wholesale lending process end to end. Within ICM the Underwriting Product Management function is responsible for managing and developing credit risk strategies and platforms as they pertain to risk appetite management, client engagement, origination decision making, and credit monitoring. Additionally, the product manager is responsible for managing requirements and development activities that will create a user centric experience to meet the needs of differing business lines, regions, and regulatory demands.

Credit Risk Activities in Scope for Transformation:

  • Originations & Amendments – Transformation of the deal management lifecycle from prospecting through underwriting, credit administration, and booking operations

  • Periodic Assessment and Client Monitoring – Transformation of the credit review processes including Annual Reviews and Problem credit management

  • Portfolio Limit Setting and Management – Transformation of how Citi Manages Limits across Lending and Counter Party Credit products, including implementation of a comprehensive monitoring structure

  • Client Management and Servicing – Transformation of how our clients interact with Citi to execute on their business operation needs, including statements, draws, etc.

  • Core Services – Transformation of the underlying foundation, data, and functional services that support the above business activities (e.g. Financial Spreading, Collateral Management, Covenant Monitoring, etc.)

Key Focuses:

  • Partner with various ICM colleagues and risk managers to develop origination and credit monitoring strategies for managing credit risk in a timely, accurate and complete manner

  • Utilize modern Emerging technologies for simplification, automation, quality control leading to improvement in Efficiency of internal processes and systems

  • Launch and manage new Products, Projects and Initiatives utilizing Emerging technologies and ensure both technical and governance deliveries of these efforts

  • Effectively navigate from the strategic to the requirement level, enabling the design team to confidently execute designs informed by user needs

  • Lead a set of products working groups to maintain outcome-based roadmaps an sequencing, review progress towards OKRs, and track risk dependencies and issues

  • Conduct design workshops that enable collaboration and conceptual solutions, while serving diverse personas

  • Leverage journey-based design strategies to drive an overall product design process and validate prototypes into production, including visual design and content strategy

  • Drive digital transformation by re-engineering operational business processes, focusing on optimizing target state processes and end to end workflow orchestration with technology empowerment

  • Follows market, industry, and client trends to own field and adapts them for application Citi’s products and solutions platforms

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in business or technology related field

  • 4+ Years of experience in Product Ownership, Product Management or Project Management

  • Expert knowledge in various software development methodologies, and project management concepts (e.g., requirements creation, feature identification, and user story writing)

  • Knowledge about Generative AI and Traditional AI. Key features, strong and weak points of these technologies and Experience with their implementation in existing processes.

  • Ability to present various Projects and Product to senior leadership in understandable and capturing way

  • Basic knowledge of programming in Python is advantage

  • Familiarity in a front office, middle office, or operational capacity supporting the credit lifecycle execution or related transformation efforts in wholesale lending

  • Demonstrated ability to translate end user needs into tangible work products that technology engineers can move forward to develop (e.g. Process Flows, Requirements, Design Artifacts, Screen Mock Ups, etc.)
