  • Create design deliverables on assigned projects (e.g., comps, style guides, branding, graphics, layouts, etc.)
  • Contribute to delivery of architecture-focused deliverables in projects (e.g., information architecture, taxonomy, journey maps, content structures, etc.)
  • Align to team objectives and lead the delivery of UX/UI of projects or work efforts that have a direct effect on business results within a functional or operational area.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years relevant UX design experience
  • 1+ years managing people/teams
  • Strong portfolio that demonstrates an expert capability in design principles, UX solutions and thinking.
  • Extensive experience with visual design, principles of UI design, layouts, graphics development, typography, color, and visual theories
  • Knowledge of user experience disciplines such as UX architecture, research, usability, and content strategies
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams
  • Trained and experienced in digital design, web, and mobile development in an enterprise environment
  • Experience designing with mobile layouts in mind
  • Capable of understanding and articulating technical feasibility of solutions with business, product and development teams.

Capable of communicating with technical developers to transfer design to deliverables

  • Supports initiatives related to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process and product rollout into production. Testing specialists work with development and business analysis teams, project managers, UAT professionals and users to design and implement appropriate scripts/plans for an application testing strategy/approach.
  • Tests and analyzes a broad range of applications within the Enterprise Tools and Reporting team to ensure they meet or exceed specified standards and end-user requirements.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to understand business and functional requirements to develop test plans, test cases and scripts.
  • Creates and executes test scripts according to application requirements documentation.
  • Identifies defects and recommends appropriate course of action; performs root cause analyses.
  • Retests after corrections are made to ensure problems are resolved.
  • Documents, evaluates and researches test results for future replication.
  • Identifies, recommends and implements process improvements to enhance testing strategies.
  • Analyzes requirements and design aspects of projects. Interfaces with client leads and development teams.
  • Exhibits sound understanding of concepts and principles in own technical area and a basic knowledge of these elements in other areas.
  • Has direct impact on the team and closely related teams by ensuring the quality of the tasks services information provided by self and others.
  • Requires sound and comprehensive communication and diplomacy skills to exchange complex information.

  • Requires methodical approach to testing and problem solving. Requires theoretical and analytical skills, with demonstrated ability in planning
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with a proactive attitude, always seeking opportunities to add value

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops training programs and learning materials using a variety of learning methodologies designed for classroom and web-based delivery mediums; integrating adult learning theory and creativity into all design elements for the creation of an interactive and effective learning experience.
  • Determines and develops appropriate training solutions for assigned projects, based on the outcome of analyzing business needs, performance goals, and audience.
  • Creates, deploys, and maintains eLearning solutions using tools such as dominKnow, Area 9, SymTrain, and Adobe Creative Suite. Solutions include WBTs, systems and business simulations, scenario and game-based learning, audio, video, and additional media, as needed.
  • Participates in the program design process by conducting needs assessments; task analysis; research of knowledge tasks; working with subject matter experts to validate content; and the creation of supporting design documents including story boards and mock-ups. Development includes constructing end-user classroom materials, facilitator guides, assessments, and writing supporting documentation
  • Creates measurement strategy for client solutions to include the overall assessment approach.
  • Reviews and tests learning products for quality and adherence to technical standards.
  • Researches current industry best practices in learning as well as eLearning and applies in instructional solutions

Qualifications:

This position requires a bachelor’s degree, or comparable experience in eLearning, Instructional Design, or a related field and/or eLearning Technical Certifications from certified institutions and experience. Other qualifications include:

  • 4 + years of InstructionalDesign/eLearning/multi-mediaexperience
  • Experience with the following content authoring tools desired: dominKnow, Brainshark, Area9, Symtrain. Adobe, Articulate Studio, Camtasia, SnagIt, and Adobe Creative Cloud applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Premier Pro, After Effects, and Audition
  • Knowledge of LMS systems, and creating compliant content that functions within an LMS
  • Knowledge of Web-based Training (WBT) creation, along with creation of media such as audio, video, customanimations/interactions,custom graphics, etc.
  • Instructional design – knowledge of adult learning principles, assessment, needs analysis, job task analysis
  • Experience providing instructional design across modalities (i.e. face-to-face, hybrid and online courses)
  • Visual design – knowledge and experience in how to craft the visual experience that works best with course content
  • Experience design – knowledge and experience in creating user interfaces that facilitates the best learning experience
  • Adult Education in a financial services and/or corporate setting a plus
